  • Anyone still waiting for their points to be added - give clubcard helpline a call :D

I called them on Friday afternoon as I'd only received 500 of the 1500 I was owed. The man at Clubcard took my order numbers to email to head office and the next morning they were there :D:D

£53.50 due in Feb!!! I think I'm addicted to collecting points!!! I don't think I'll manage to save enough for a free holiday next year, but it will definitely give us a hefty discount!! :j

    Interesting...

Firstly, is there anybody still awaiting points to be added? Perhaps you made several orders and the points have been added to the earlier ones?

I took the p*** admittedly with this offer. I bought about 70 items total across several accounts, and kept everything written down.

Today i have had the correct points added to an account, an account with slightly more points added, an account with no points added, and an account with half the points added. I am certain about what i was owed, and was aware what the T&C were at time of purchase.

I am owed too many points to let it be and it would be fantastic to have them before quarter end. Perhaps i should wait a day or two... be good to hear other peoples situation.

There is a site called paid to shop which will have a good insight, however for some reason i can not access it from here at work or at home, this has been the case for a while now... do not what is going on there????

Anyway, just to quickly touch on taking the p***, i am aware its frowned upon by some, in fact i used to do so too -& up until recently i operated well within the 'sprit of the clubcard scheme', however just this quarter, and for a number of reasons -i have been greedy although i like to think i have been subtle about it by having several accounts/addresses, thus not alerting Tesco to my abuse of the promo's.

I just used one account and stuck to the rules.

I bought 77 items when it was 6 of each, and then another 10 when the offer was repeated with 1 of each.

Got about £335 of points added so far, so looks like i'm not getting them for the extra 10, which i knew could happen when i did it,

Still over the moon with my points :T

Just had a thought - 12 of my items never turned up (convinced post man left em on doorstep and they were nicked). I was sent replacements - but Tesco Cancel the original orders and re-order them. That could explain it.

Not sure if i dare make a fuss on this one though.

Saw this in Sutton Tesco Extra today. 7000 Extra Points.

SHARP LC40LE700E 40 INCH LED TV

    Cost is £799.97
So 799 points X double points
    = 1598
    + 7000
    = 8598
So £343.00 in deals. Or 16464 Airmiles with double points promotion, so 2 x Zone 6 flights San Francisco, Rio, Singapore etc. All points till 25th Jan should be added to the next mailing in Feb. You would need to purchase Monday 25th to take advantage of the double airmiles. See conditions.

So in effect a new 40" TV for £457.97 + 2 x Zone 6 Flights all taxes paid.

I don't need a new TV, but not a bad deal if you do!
Hope it's some help to someone. Offer runs till the end of the month.

I have just checked on line and the lowest price is £777 inc delivery by cheapest web competitor.

Was sensible, stuck to the rules too on both new and old site, and got awarded everything on Tues and Sat (new and old went on different times)

Agree that is prob why you are down, due to the reorders on their end..

Good haul for you too, well done! With the dongles and phone promo underbelt too, I have huge mailings to arrive

Ah ah, great minds think alike.

Your ahead of me on the dongles though, i didn't spot them on Tesco - i've been getting them via nectar (£10 each - £18 back in points).

I've got £300 worth of clubcard points already saved up, mostly due to the Tesco mobile free points on shopping offer - but it took me almost 2 years to get them all.

I can't believe i've earned another £400 worth in one quarter.

Might have to think about how to spend some now.

    Happy days.:D

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Combo Breaker Car Insurance Carver!
I think this has been mentioned before but Tesco staff do read these forums and you may find that they investigate peoples accounts before the February mailing and cancel some of the points. BTW I am just advising a bit of caution.

Use Tesco Mastercard, Clubcard Plus, or cashback card and make more points or moneyback.

Your right, there are many Tesco staff on here - we have them on the coupons thread. Most are 'one of us'.

As i say, i stick to the rules. If they say 6 of each item, i buy 6. They can't come back later and say "its not in the spirit of the scheme". A judge would laugh them out of court.

I chased up every last point from the Tesco Mobile shopping points offer. I bought just £85 of shopping (i actualy spent £15 - rest was free as they took coupons without buying the items) and got £77 back in points, worth £308 in deals.

The scheme was withdrawn, probably because of people getting the full amounts, but Tesco were very helpful in making sure all the missing points were added manually. They had no choice really.

As i say - always print off a copy of the terms.
