Thieving parents...
Comments

Well, wife saw the parents again the other day and made it clear that they we knew they had it (mainly because they're daughter had told us !!!). They denied it again though.
Then, it got handed in to the school yesterday by someone. Methinks the thieving !!!!!!s had a change of heart.
Will make sure my son keeps clear of this kid if thats what the parents are like.0 -
Do you know who handed it in??
I'm glad your son got it back.
Slightly off topic, I had a neighbours Dad here kicking off years ago saying my son had his sons gameboy game. I knew he hadn't as my son has the same one himself and it was in his room. He was ranting and raving, if my son didn't give it back he was gonna have abto buy a new one yada yada. I found out 2 days later than sons friend had found the game under his bed, and that his Dad knew he'd found it, but didn't bother to come and apologise to me and my son. I think that stinks, especially as he was accusing my son of stealing it! Cheeky fookwit.Tank fly boss walk jam nitty gritty...0 -
[quote=[Deleted User];26541867]Yeah. Similar sort of thing with my son.
I think I will speak to the club again and see if they can contact them again. They might suddenly remember if they get hassled.
Failing that, I'm not planning to let them get away with it. If needs be, I'll find out where they live, pay them a visit, and point out the errors of their actions so to speak....
I'm really wassed off that someone could do this though. Perhaps its just me but I'd never even consider doing something like this. If it was me I'd have rung the club the instant I found out the mistake and then offered to deliver it to the rightful owner. Certainly wouldnt be keeping it and lying low to see if you had to give it back.

Paul unfortunately some parents do this, they steal, lie and also support their childrens bad behaviour. We used to have a neighbour who thought it was perfectly acceptable to steal cash from his own neighbours, friends and friends of his own children. These people think everyone else is free game and normal rules don't apply to them. The only crime is getting caught to them. The only thing you can do is be careful of your belongings. It's good you got your son's property back, just be aware, not everyone is decent.0
