Keys - what a nightmare!

I was on thetrain last night, relieved to be on my way home, when my phone rang and it was the friend I had only said goodbye to 15mins earlier...reminding me I had her keys in my handbag:eek: Thankfully she could collect her spares from her mum's, but I now have to Special Delivery hers home, not very moneysaving, and its bucketing with rain:rolleyes: Ah well, that will teach me.

I almost did that too, how 'funny' would that have been, eh?

That's why I always keep a spare key, hidden somewhere in the jungle that is my garden ;)

It's amazing how easy it is to forget your keys. I was in a meeting with a supervisor a week ago and if I had not noticed her keys lying on the floor near her chair, she would have left without her keys.

Anyway, I'm sorry you have to go out in the pouring rain just to go to the PO. But why can't your friend use her spare key though? (just a thought!)

She is at the moment but obviously needs hers back - also has her parents spare keys, church keys etc on the ring. Just she is in Essex and I'm up north!

I have key safes so I don't have to worry about forgetting mine. (I have to have them anyway for carers and emergencies.) Cost about £15-£20

If she forgot to ask you for her keys shouldn't she be the one coming to you to collect her keys not you being the one to take them back to her, or have missed something?

Have you agreed a 'safe' address to post them to, ie not one for which you are posting the keys?

I have a key safe as well. Got mine from http://www.esafes.co.uk/cat/security-safes/key-safes.html They do sometimes get the small ones that you can put at the front of your house. They are a life saver
