Am I missing something? If it is a British company with assets in the UK what stops OP taking legal action against the company?0

Nothing, except..........
Used western union, no name/legal entity, no proper physical addy, no tele, etc...,.........
...........No chance!!!!!!!
Keep up mate!!!0 -
From OP's post:
"Yes, its a UK company with an adress."
Keep up....
Err, but he was wrong...........
He's got a website addy..........no limited co details, no proper names, no proper address [most likely], no proper tele,....err, game over.
Read the whole thread [I do mention court action, man of straw etc].........and check the web
Apology accepted.0 -
I assume the OP has tried ringing their 0560 number?
Using a VOIP number is one way to hide your real location - this is one dodgy site and it amazes me how people fall for this sort of thing.0 -

No apology offered.
OP says he has the address. Its not on website, but if OP has address he can effect service there.0 -

He has an address [BTW there is one on the website, under contact us]...... but he'll be wasting his money serving papers there.
BTW who do you suggest he serves them on ie what name would you use on the court papers???
To stop further bickering can I just explain that I agree with you.......in that
IF he has a valid address, and
IF he has a valid name of the firm/person who ripped him off, and
IF this scammer has assets that the OP is confident can't be hidden [eg they are a houseowner], then
it MIGHT be worth serving papers.
But just having an address is not enough...............if it's a blokie in a bedsit with no assets...forget it, you're wasting your money.0
