Sent Laptop to Buyer - He Says Screens Cracked!?

Hi all, not sure this is the right area to put my proble, but here goes.
I sold my laptop on eBay second hand, in perfect condition. I sent it with a delivery firm called HDNL insured up to £100. I sold the laptop for £160.
The buyer recieved the laptop and quickly emailed me to say the screen was cracked. This sounded VERY strange. Laptop monitors would be hard to crack if you took a baseball bat to it, let alone dropping it in a van.
He wants it collecting and refunding. Im really not sure what to do? I will lose £60, and might have issues getting the HDNL insurance (although I shouldnt) however, it sounds silly saying it has a cracked screen.
I've asked him to send me a picture (maybe he ment the plastic casing had a crack).
Should I get it back and claim on the house insurance? or wouldn't that be any use? Please advise - I cannot afford to lose money when I have packaged it well.
Thanks,.

Get the laptop back and refund the man.
He paid for something that was broken.
If you lose the money, or claim from the delivery ompany, then that is your problem not his.0 -
it does look as though you're going to be out of pocket
but you'll probably get more responses & good advice about the best way to proceed if you post this query over on the ebay forum0
