Speed Camera Incident

I think that there's no better suggestion that inspecting the site of the incident, with your wife, so she can explain which direction she was driving in and therefore you can see whether she was likely to have been correctly "flashed". Given that she remembers the flash, and then she got the NIP, the chances that she wasn't responsible for the flash appear fairly limited IMHO. Cameras don't accidentally photograph cars on the wrong side of the road so successfully that you can get a NIP.0

I read your post on pepipoo, are you talking about the fixed gatso just before the heath hospital turn-off heading towards the gabalfa roundabout? As that can only flash going towards the Gabalfa roundabout as opposed to away or I and hundreds of others would have been caught speeding hundreds of times!0

Not necessarily. I just wrote and asked for the evidence and they sent me a photo. I believe they are obliged to do so, but the experts are at pepipoo ...xycom1 wrote:If you want the evidence, you have to go to court to get it -Signature removed for peace of mind0 -
A friend of mine works in the Traffic department for the West Midlands Police force and he told me that they are now prosecuting more and more people for speeding from when they have set Gatsos off on the "other" side of the road. They are set off my the sensor in the camera being activated by the speeding car travelling towards it as it disrupts the monitoring signal. Thus if there are white lines on both sides of the road they can get you in both directions of travel.Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.
