Free hosting and domain

If you're running a business site there's no point in scrimping on the hosting service. How much would you loose if your site is down for a day?

I've used domaincity.co.uk for a few years, more expensive than a few but then I appreciate the support they give. I think it's £30 for a domain and hosting.

If you have a single page and 15mb of pictures how many of those pictures are going to show at 1 time?

Avoid anyone who says anything is unlimited. No datacentre gives unlimited space/ bandwidth to the servers they allow to be housed and so the company offering the hosting is basing it on the assumption that each user will only actually use X amount. Whilst it may work fine you may be "unlucky" and get on the same server as 1000 other sites all of which are heavy on useage and so slowing the server to a crawl.

I would second the combination of Dataflame and 123-reg but your bandwidth requirements may be an issue if you are intending to serve up all 15mb of images to every visitor :eek:
