true, but was just highlighting other BR player/recorder options while we're on the subject

Thanks all for the advice.OH will probably decide to go for PS3(which tbh i forgot it played blu ray)..Could be another xmas present sorted !!!,which will cost me a fortune in the future(games etc:rolleyes:)

This was Voted Blu ray product of the Year 2009 as well . i am very tempted but i think i will hold out and see what Arcam's long awaited Blu ray is like first .
