This sounds bad to me...

Bushes can be cheap, but some cannot be replaced on their own without replacing the whole part / arm.
Without doing all the work yourself, I doubt you'd get this done (inc parts) for less than £200.
you could get this done easily for this price,ok a few quid more if you need the full suspension arm. you can buy a suspension arm from a motor factors with bushes fitted for about £12.
i think you might have been robbed when you got yours done.
a fiesta is a fairly basic car with age old components that have been around for years and most mechanics will be fairly well versed in doing the suspension arms, they have been a common wear item on fiestas for decades. a few hours labour at a local garage will be more than enough for this. an even lower price if the guy does it at his house for cash in hand....work permit granted!0 -

Mine was a full wishbone which is at least £40.
Hour & 1/2 labour and VAT and you get £140.
Maybe I was robbed, but I phoned round several garages (that I'd be willing to use) and got quoted a similar price at all of them...0 -

is your car a fiesta? thats a fair labour rate for an independant garage.
you will also notice i advised using a mechanic that works from thier house to reduce bills....work permit granted!0 -

No - Octavia
Fair enough, didn't spot that - Back street garage would be a lot cheaper.

you should ask the price of a fiesta suspension arm the next time your in a motor factors. much cheaper than an octavia. you could buy 2 for your price and still have change left over....work permit granted!0 -
Im not a mechanic but that list doesnt seem too worrying to me. I think I had gaiters done on mine for very little and the other stuff doesnt sound major. Dont worry about it until next April
