Thanks for all your wishes. OHs dad was moved back to his rehab hospital last night. The clot on his brain has got bigger and the slurred speech was due to another anurism (don't know how to spell it). They have said it will take longer for him to recover from each of these. OHs brother was in the ambulance with him on the way back and said he didn't look well at all, and he kept complaining of being cold. The doctor was going to see him to try and ease his pain and that is where we are at the moment.
I am not going into work until later this morning and I have already S & Sd the kitchen.

I noticed a quote fom your message about your daughter...but I can't find the original message.
I work in a primary school as a midday supervisor...so understand that problems like yours can occur. Can I offer some advice?
The diary and photos are a good idea..but don't make this too important in front of your daughter.
If the class teacher is any good then they should have flagged this up to all staff who do playground duty - this includes TA's and MSA's.... Can you ask her if this has been done?
Does your daughter have a best friend/couple of mates who can support her at playtime? Can you have a word with their mums?
Is the trouble coming from older children? This needs investigating! With the best will in the world it can be easy to miss things in a busy playground.....BUT if you've been forewarned in advance to keep an eye on a particular child it makes it a lot easier!
and lastly ...if your little girl is starting to not want to go to school then this means it needs sorting. If you don't get assurances from the clas teacher that things are moving then you need to see the head sooner rather than later.
Telling your daughter to push back may get her into trouble...I know you want to help her survive - but it often doesn't help! But if you have sen the head and told him of your concerns..then if she does get into trouble you will have a defence!
Good luck!:jFlylady and proud of it:j0 -

I'm sorry, you are?

How was your trip?:D
You're cheeky you are.
It was great,, I'm jetlagged though. Got home tuesday evening, managed to stay awake until about 10pm tuesday night then slept for 18 hours...oopsy...and not been to sleep since. Tired now and don't know what to do.
My friend had her kidney removed on tuesday so we are popping over to York to see her in hospital later.
I'm very much better and think I can return to work in the next week or so. Have a consult with doctor next week or so and will hopefully continue to improve.
Housework ....well I haven't had to do any as my lovely girls had cleaned up a treat. :T
I do need to sort some stuff out and check out the christmas pressie pile.
Other than that eldest DD has announced that she hates college and wants to leave, she wishes to get some work either full, part-time or voluntary and go to another college next september. Not sure what to do re the situation, need an unfuzzy brain to deal with it. She says she doesn't like the tutors, the subjects...any of it really and wishes to go in a completely different direction.
Any suggestions?
Best let chickens out...be back later.
I'll also put a wash on to qualify for some flying.;)DFW Nerd 267. DEBT FREE 11.06.08
