Not looking too bad list wise :0)

QUICK Question - My 6 year old came home with a letter from school yesterday asking for parents permission for them to handle a sparkler tomorrow.... am I being overprotective to think this is a ridiculous idea??? They have said that they will be taking groups of 3 out at a time, but I still think its a bad idea....

    Hugs all round :0)

Hmm, I was only asking questions about this thread and now it seems I'm a member. I suppose that's a good thing. Don't expect it will last, but now is quite a good time to start as life is more settled at the moment. I know with Flylady you aren't supposed to try and 'keep up', but that is how it makes me feel!

I have absolutely no worries about my dd having a sparkler... As she had one last year and knows the dangers etc. What I am worried about is there are some children in her class who are not very sensible at all! I am trusting the school to supervise it correctly. I do agree that it is pretty pointless to do in the daytime.

It just makes me laugh that they are so hot on health and safety with things like nut products in lunch boxes etc. but its ok to give a group of children a stick with fire on the end!!!

    Thanks for your response :0)
