Greenbee - I've checked with Continental's handling agent, and as long as you have a UK passport, you can travel to the US for as long as the passport is valid - you don't need 3 or 6 months left because of the agreement between the states and the UK - you just need to be back into the UK by the passport's expiry date HTH x

Thanks LG! I'll ignore all the people who keep telling me I'm wrong and refer them to the US Embassy website where it says this (I mean, why would they say it unless it was true )

But Penny, Oh the irony of Jinky's avatar - I can't look at it because even though it's the prohibited sign, it STILL reminds me of that event! I wish there was a house rule where it can't be talked about until Dec 1st....

    Morning everyone

There's a bit of sunshine this morning. Let's hope it stays there!

Christmas trees were up in Basingstoke this morning :eek::eek:
The electrocution was fitting pretty pink polka-dot light switch covers without turning the light off. What a dimwit!
Glad the sofa covers are OK... hope the acid & electrocution haven't left permanent scars. Do you have a link for the light switch covers?

    'morning,

This thread is moving so fast, can't keep up, otherwise I wouldn't do any housework

Tuesday all done Toots, can I have a star please?

Been to Asda for shopping, not sure if it is the same in all Asdas but they have the big tins of sweets (Quality Street, Mingles, Roses) on for £7 for 2 tins, Great bargain, I think,

Right, start on Wednesday then. I hate my bedroom, it is the only room never been decorated since we moved in 8 years ago.
