I didn't think you would... I'm far to scared to try to upset you :o

little old me?:Awhat a terrible impression you all have of me :cry::rotfl:

Explain to Daz that you're going to be so traumatised by the move that you'll need to be waited on hand and foot for the first year or two... and that you've tried de-sensitisation therapy for your housework & ironing phobia, but there are nearly 200 flyladies who will happily confirm for him that it's been unsuccessful ;) and that therefore you can't ever pick up a duster again... let alone an iron  Maybe you should go and have a lie down... practice for watching Daz do the ironing :D

It was a new pump for my aerogarden if you must know :p
Soappie: How irritating for you! Our lovely postie either leaves things hidden in the porch or pops them just inside the garage door. And then scribbles a little note to tell us.

Oh, it's no irritation. I'm lucky, really, that the sorting office is just up the road and I'd rather the posty did take it back where it would be safe.

Normally I would drive and be there and back in 15 minutes but I decided the walk would do the dog and I good - but we did catch the bus back (using the monthly bus pass I got for work so making the most of it :) ) as it happened to come along at the right time. BB quite enjoyed the ride.

  • Quick question - does anyone have adobe acrobat pro or similar? I want to undo a .pdf certificate and unamericanise it - if you know what I mean? Its ideal except for the text and really can't compete with doing my own..

  • [STRIKE]Tuesday ~ Living room, Hall and Stairs[/STRIKE] - DONE!!

Had a productive HHC, have even empted TD (far to cold and wet to dry otherwise) and actually put the stuff straight away!

Gonna now sit down with a :coffee: and then make a start on spag bol. Even remembered to take mince out of freezer last night!

Just a quick one... do ya reckon parsnips will be ok in spag bol? Just I got 2 that are looking a bit tired and want to use them up? I'm already chucking courgettes and some lentils in so don't need them to bulk it out, just want to use them! Don't know whether they'll work in bolognease or it its better to put them with some chickpeas that have also been lurking in cupboard for a while and make a bit of a spicy soup?

louboutingirl - I was doing the HHC with you so you werent alone :) (was meant to be 15 min but expanded .. doesnt it always)

In my HHC I did this lot:
    - tidy up breakfast mess (I know, I know),
    - put away this morning's food shopping (yes, yes)
    - clear out lunch boxes
    - put pasta on for tea
    - put dry dishes away
    - get pile of recycling ready to go out
    - wipe inside of fridge
    - find dolly's buggy
    - kiss a sore finger better
    - IM hubs to see when he is home
    - wash last night's caserole dish
    - wipe down booster chair
    - wuipe down breakfast table
    - assemble and put on pasta sauce
    - wash 2 bags of fruit

    still to do:
    tidy away breadboard
    make lunches
    do fruit for pudding
    server dinner
clear up from dinner (argh its endless isnt it)
    put DW on

DD2 is having a strop on the floor at my feet and I know she wont eat any tea,. Cant get her to eat anything but fruit, its really annoying. Wouldnt worry except for iron and protein really.

I let DH know very early on in our relationship that I don't do ironing and he has to either do it himself or get his mum do it for him! :rotfl:

Hi Lolly – FLY stands for Finally Love Yourself – it means that by doing housework and following the lists on page 1, we free up time to do the things we want to do. Please join in and you will soon see that it works!

AnW’s, the collection behind the TV started 2 years ago when I moved here! So I guess that’s the answer then! The TV is on a stand and the stuff is behind the stand but it was building up behind the TV itself so thanks for the health and safety warning, I hadn’t thought of that. :o

Would anyone like a large collection of used jiffy bags in assorted sizes? :D

Jill give up on the other weeks thread and just concentrate on this one – you will never catch up otherwise! Don’t waste time trying to catch up.

I had a lie down and read my book but funnily enough I felt quite energetic and didn't want to go to sleep. This is wierd cos this morning I felt worn out! Maybe it's cos I've put th heating on, I've been having it on as little as possible but DH got wet through today and he phoned and said to put the heating on as he can't have a bath when he gets in because of the sealant. So it's all toasty in here ready for him to dry out in!

Going to have leftovers tonight, so that's an easy tea. I will try to do more decluttering behind TV this evening. DH took a broken DVD player away with him this morning, I have no idea why it was down there.
