Hugs to all and welcome to the new people starting (sorry I didn't say hiya earlier!!) xx0 -

Thanks! My New York to Orlando flight and back are with Continental!
Email sorted, and I've rung my mother and told her how to fix hers too. Another one of those things I should have dealt with months ago!
Better go and close the curtains and rescue the sheets from the TD... I might even consider ironing them0 -

Well at least you're seeing the positive side - fresh air and exercise!
Fingers and toes are crossed for you all tomorrow Mudbath.
Jo - maybe it's excitement at the thought of Christmas! I heated tray that I use, which takes up less room, so might be worth looking out for one of those. It's mostly warm, with a hotspot on it... I wonder if I can find a link (I can't remember what they're called... )
OK... so it's kind of like this but because it's ancient (about 30 years old) it's not cordless, and it has a hotspot at one end so you can put a pan on and keep it really hot! And I store it on top of my kitchen units.
ETA... I now have a lunch date for tomorrow (not a date date, just lunch with an ex-supplier) so that's one less packed meal to deal with, and it won't cost me either - so soup for supper tomorrow as I'll eat in the middle of the day.0 -
LR tidied, all bins upstairs emptied......really tired now but I want to do another (small) thing so I can get ahead, I think classes start back tomorrow and a few of us from work are going out for lunch on Friday and I would feel a whole lot better if I have nothing to do Friday evening.....0

Love the before and after pics rosepink
I've just woken up, going to peel and cook potatos, and mash em and eat em and freeze what's left. The same with runner beans, apart from the mashing! Fed up with things going off before they are eaten, so trying to freeze things more.
I've not got very far with the behind the TV mess, but have put a couple of things away.
Holly, hope the water is back on soon
Mrs MH nice to see you!
Diva, well done on the mushrooms, must be very satisfying to grow your own food
Hugs Carlsberggal
Welcome Purpleivy
Lil_me hope your mouth recovers quickly. I’ve been wondering for a while now, who is little Matthew?
Louboutingirl, you have done really well today!
Mudders hope you find out what’s been going on with DS tomorrow and that it can be sorted out easily"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Yipeeeeee I am getting a garage, straight in front of my house
means we can have the bikes etc here instead of distributed across several other peoples garages.

I left school 10 years ago with nothing more then 10 GCSE's and have always wanted to be a midwife, and doing some research on tinterweb have found out my local college do and adults access to education 1 year course which will give me the required qualifications to apply for uni. This whole losing my job kerfufffle (I love that word!) has been making me really consider what I want to do. Aaarrrggghhh I don't know what to do! Gonna have a good chat with MrLouboutingirl tonight about it.
I haven't had time to catch up on the whole thread - seriously 10 pages guys? Give a girl a break!!! - but will sit and read them now with my :coffee:

Good luck. Lots of people use redundancy to take stock and choose a new path, I wish you well. We've got two hospital appointments tomorrow so we might (or might not) know more then.
Fingers crossed for you both that they have the answer and the solution xx
Beaver run next and collect a parcel from the sorting office whilst I'm in the car.
