I want to buy a Motorola V3

Hope I got this in the right forum. I need a new phone and would like a razr motorola phone. I have seen on kelkoo shopping site that you can buy a v3 for around 100 pounds but I have also seen on ebay the v3i for around 150 pounds (brand new that is).

I don't really want to spend much on one and just wondered if anyone had seen any good prices on any of these phones (only on pay as you go btw) preferably lower than the 100 pounds for the v3.

Do you think it would be better to buy a second hand one off ebay or buy new and ifso do you think I would be better spending the extra 50 pounds on getting the v3i instead of the v3.

Overall which one do you think would be the best and cheapest for me? Any links to any sites or ones for sale on ebay would be appreciated.

Give viginmobile a phone . They do the v3i reconditioned as new for £104.99 delivered . I got 1 a few weeks ago and it was just as new totally . Better still when you use £30 of credit with virgin they give you the unlock code for the hanset if you request it . That way you are free to use another operator if you like .

Tesco instore and online selling all phones with 10% off but sorry I can't remember the prices of specific phones

Wow the v3 is like 89 pounds odd on their site do you think this is a good buy and likely to be a one off.

Should I buy this now while it is cheap surely this seems a really good buy.

Or should I wait a few weeks/months and it will be even cheaper?

No crystal ball here but I think the V3 has been upgraded has it not so this is possibly old stock

I don't think any more V3's are being made as the V3i is available, which is for most purposes identical to its predecessor. From past experience with a V3, though, I think the prices have dropped as far as they will go - remember, this was a top pricey model just over a year and a half ago And they do last.
