It's the one very nearby to Liz Jones farm that went for £634K.

LJ's farm didn't get logged in the Land Registry records for seeing the price she paid. Maybe because it has working farm classification.

It was somewhere around £1.6 million she paid.

Any chance you could edit out that page-stretching image of prices that don't relate to LJ's property? :)

<Edit update: Thanks for removing editing out that page-stretching image.>

EDIT: Actually a closer read shows the restaurant quailty kitchen fittings are in the completely renovated barn conversion she also owns on the same plot and which her animal therapist lives in.

    Hehe. That explains a bit.

I was wondering what sort of person would rent a 2 bed property on Liz Jones' farm. Jobs in the area ect.

In the listing details for LJ's house from Strutt & Parker.
The annex attached to the property is known at The Cider House, which contains potential for a kitchen/sitting room, plus two bedrooms and a bathroom upstairs. This building is currently empty, but has previously been let out on a 6-month Assured Shorthold Tenancy for £600 per calendar month.

So it was being rented for £600pm to someone Liz Jones was employing fulltime? Not rented to the local community vet or anything.

She bought it in 2007. It's well documented.

Not 2005. The Middle Upcott property is the one across
    the road.

Nobody was more achingly cool, trendy and urban than our columnist Liz Jones. So what on earth has made her move to 46 acres of wildest Exmoor with only a rescued racehorse and disabled pony for company?

When I was growing up in the Essex countryside, I couldn't wait to get away.

And she spent half a million on doing it up, apparently.

Just taking a quick 5 min skive reading this and this
..... buyers dubbed Droppies (Disillusioned Relatively Ordinary Professionals Preferring Independent Employment Situations).
has made me rofl. I am having a particularly grim,stress-out, London fashiony day today too.:o
I now declare myself a wannabe Droppie....except I did the last bit 1st.

I now have to go out in the rain to W1 with my Havianas on and my bottoms skim the floor so I will end today with water soaked yoga pants up to my knees.

Back to Liz..I still am guessing that the London sale was a million so I will try to work out her 'gain' if she sells...which I don't think she will at 1.9.

I also had some gossip on a PMH house on DS's thread...no sniff of a sale and dropped by 200k recently.
