HI / Morning from the new girl. Been reading the posts for the last couple of months that we have been TTC. Please forgive me if I don't have all the short hand down yet!
We are on month 3 of TTC. Having just got hitched in October.
Your posts have given me hope and it is good to know that things don't just happen over night however much we long for a BFP!
Looking forward to chatting with you ladies.
Take care. xIf you can think it........it will happen0 -
Hi again, just read back and becs - I'm rooting for him! Plus it means you get cooked nice food as he tries stuff out on the run up to it!
smartie- confused?! You and me both, at least you're waiting to test, I'm still waiting to ov and had ewcm this morning. My womb/ovaries/cervix and the cbfm are all off my christmas card list now! They're all gits.
Wondering if this delay has to do with my (self diagnosed) ovarian cyst, but have not found anything definitive online to say a cyst can affect ov. This is not a very productive way to spend my day off I'm thinking...:rotfl: Best go do something with my day...
Hi tinkwings, nice to meet youNever argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.0 -

BFPs - CAFC, B2B, Katy, elliebobs, Astro_k, Sir Monster, hobo123, Catw0man Well done ladies! What a bumper crop this month :T:j
Edited to add: I've figured out why my cycle's gone screwy!! :j:j I took some v.strong NSAIDs on the day before I expected to ov, muppet!! NSAIDs, like ibuprofen and diclofenac work by inhibiting an enzyme that triggers off the messenger molecules for inflammation (so that's why they stop inflammation and swelling),but, one of the things they trigger off is prostaglandin. That is involved in lots of things in the body, but one of the things they think it does is to do with allowing the follicle to burst and you to ovulate. I can't believe I've been so thick . Lesson for us all ttc ladies - ibuprofen/aspirin/diclofenac/naproxen/licofelone are all *bad* things to take when you're ttc, and worse when you're pg...Never argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.0 -
Afternoon All,
Bitzer - Again you are the fountain of all knowledge- I like it that you give us the technical facts.
Nothing much to report at Camp Sammy_Girl. CD19 for me. AF not due for another week and a half but I can feel PMT already. I've been a right moody cow for the last couple of days. Even DH asked if I was due on
Looking forward to someone getting November's first BFP - come on girls!!!!0 -
Hi all (was going to say morning but its not anymore )
Welcome to tinkwings, and congratulations to CatW0men (I missed your BFP somehow!)
CD29 here and I'm due to test tomo. Must have been confused by FF as I had thought I'd be late by tomo, but in fact my cycles are averaging at 29 days so tomo is the earliest I should test.
Actually got a friend over tonight so may not be practical to test anyway, she'll be leaving early though so I might be able to hold in my FMU!
I'm trying not to ss but it gets harder towards the end, room was spinning this morning even though I was just lying in bed and I felt really dizzy (admittedly I often do!). Also been sleeping loads but I would be anyway given that I have this week off work :T.
I thought I was out for the month as temp was down this morn after being at a constant 36.97 for the last couple of days, however these were very late temps as I've been lazy all weekend, so I went back to sleep for a good few hours and tried again and was 36.98. I was good though and put the lower temp into FF.
Sorry - I'm being naughty, must try not to get hopes up! Would just be so lovely to have a July baby (and would also get me out of a very stressful period at work).
Right, I'm off to get a shower...:rolleyes:Proud to be a moneysaver! :cool:0 -
Hi Sammy, hmmm you've just reminded me that I have been my typical pre period self. Very grouchy and clumsy - even badly bumped the car on Saturday trying to parkProud to be a moneysaver! :cool:0

Hi everyone, it has taken me approx 3 hours to catch up!! Trying to look busy again at work!!
Sorry to all the girls who got BFN's, more practising this month!
Courgette your photo was beautiful! Congratulations!
Bitzer, breathe and relax! You sound as though you explode this month, sending lots of hugs to you!
I've had a wine filled weekend, spent day with OH's family and LOTS of new babies yesterday, I found the whole quite emotional so stood by the fridge and drank! Only sensible option really!
Ali, have you gone back to work today, hope you are ok!
Question, I had my m/c op 3 weeks and 2 days ago, and still have some bleeding, well its a kind of brownish mucus (tmi?) is this normal, or should I go to the doctors?
Hope everyone is having an ok Monday! Chin up Twinklie, it'll be ok xx

Not sure about the mucus jenny, but brown is old blood and might just be the dribs and drabs hanging around that are coming out. Again though, if you're not sure or not happy, go to the GP xxNever argue with an idiot, he just brings you down to his level and beats you with experience.0
