Murray - what folic acid tabs were you taking? I posted the other day how i had been researching different forms of Folic acid and another name it is known by is metafolin, this is easier to break down in the system where as the folic acid has to go through 4 processes before it can be absorbed. Metafolin can be found in Femibion.

Hi Stef, I'm taking Boots Mum to Be. I had been taking Sanatogen Mother to Be before but I changed because the Boots ones were on offer! I havent got the bottle with me but I'm fairly sure that they are both folic acid and not metafolin so I'll look out for that. Thanks!

Boots currently have all of these vits on 342, the femibion ones also offer triple advantage points plus in the machine or the mailings there are occassionally extra points for vits - used mine last week.

  • Just wondering if anyone has any experience with prolapse, and if anyone has any advice re TTC.

I'm a grade 3 and it seriously affects my day to say life, the hospital said an operation is only thing which would help this. They want me to try yet more physio first, then will fit a pessary, unless i request the pessary sooner.

Anyone TTC with a ring pessary? Does it reduce chances?

Anyone had a cystcele and rectocele repair? they wont do it until i 'complete my family' but that's not a decision i will be ready to make after i do have #3. Can i have the op and get preg? what would happen to the 'repair work'? What is it like being pregnant with a prolapse?

I heard of another kind of op - but its only for prolapsed uterus - mine is ok. Anyone know if another op is available anywhere else in the country?

it's a long shot, but if anyone has any info that can help me, please post or pm.

Unrelated note - cheapo ebay preg test gave me a faint line (appeared after 1 min) at ovulation!!! Def not preg though, gonna pay a little more in future!)

    Thanks!

editing to say i'm 3 DPO!

    Hi ladies can i join?
I am going having my coil removed on monday!!!!!!
We are trying for number 3(after much much deliberation).
I am excited but now thinking what time scale i set on trying for.
I really don't want much more of an age gap (youngest is 4 in may) and i don't want to be trying for years so at what point would i call it a day?????
Has anyone else been in this position??
Also when TTC dd2 it took 2 years and was finally diagnosed with endometriosis which was treated with laser surgery after wich i got pregnant, i don't seem to have any symptoms of it coming back but wondering if anyone been in this situation too and whether it affected TTC.

    Hi

We're pretty much in the same boat as you (although my other two are waaaaaay older ;o) but I'm (hopefully) having the coil out on Thursday and I'm rather obsessed already :o

DD2 had 2 congenital birth defects (not genetic), I'm RH- and was Step B+ with DD2 also so am also a bit nervous - I didn't 'try' with DD1 or DD2 so I'm a bit nervous about this whole lark too

SK - Ahhhh, thanks honey. That's really nice of you. Sorry that the witch got you today. What's a persona monitor love, and do I want one? x

Lol, well a persona is a different version of the CBFM. Whether or not you want one tho - I can't answer that lol.

I'm really lucky as my friend had it for TTC her second so she passed it onto me, so it cost me nothing. It remains to be seen whether it makes any difference or not.....

Had to laugh - i've just come off the phone from telling my mom not this month and she said to my dad "we're not gonna be Grandparents (again) this month" he shouted back "are they doing it right?" :rotfl: Reminded me of the post someone wrote a few weeks back about the vicar, his wife and the bellybutton!

    BFP!!!!

Cheated & tested yesterday morning on CD 25 (13DPO) with a Clearblue Digital, went to brush my teeth whilst waiting for the stick to do its thing, thoroughly expecting a negative, especially being our first month of ttc. Nearly choked when it came up with 'Pregnant 1-2' weeks! Didn't believe it, so went out & bought 5 more tests. Now done 4 of them, 3 came back with fairly strong BFP's and one was faulty as test line did not show.

Now I've got over the shock, I'm feeling utterly terrified that something might go wrong. It is so early so I don't feel like I can tell anyone (in real life). I'm trying not to get carried away with it until at least my AF is late (this weekend) but its so difficult!
