I'm going for an early scan on Tuesday - beginning to panic as both mc's were picked up at early scans (no bleeding or pain), I don't want to go through that again

  • Catwoman, I hope everything is going OK will be thinking of you next week . .

Tinkwings re OPK sticks: Short answer (anyone else please correct me!) they highlight the rise in LH (which happens just before ovulation), once this is positive you should BD within the next 24 - 36 hours as ovulation is quite short (but swimmers can last longer!). We did this and got our 1st BFP and think it happened for a few others here too . . at least you know you are bding close to ovulation as it can be a guessing game. They are pricey up to £20 for 5-7 sticks but there tend to be offers (superdrugs are BOGOF at the mo at £16 so you get 10 sticks, should be enough for one cycle), also some ladies have good recs for ebay suppliers too . .

    Morning All

1more - Huge congratulations :j:j:j:j:j for the fabulous BFP. Sending lot sof sticky vibes your way

Catwoman - Hope your scan goes well. Fingers crossed :)

Jacobsmum - No rpobs with rant at OH. Mine too is obsessed with Call of Duty. Each time they come out he has to buy it, plays it for weeks on end then stops . We have a PS2 and I don't think the new game is on there so DH today said he is going to buy an XBox. I wouldn't mind but I've already bought him a Wii for Xmas (but he doesn't know that). So fingers crossed he doesn't get a bloomin Xbox

Tinkwings - Lucky you for pic in paper. You're famous :)

Confuzzled - Pls can you take me off the testing list. The witch came with a vengenace last yesterday afternoon . Anyway, at least now I have a rough idea on my cycle days. 28 days :) Now I am on CD 2, so will be going to buy some OV sticks at lunchtime today, and this month I am going for it full steam ahead!!!!! I want a BFP before Xmas :)

Did anyone watch the doc on C4 last night about Octomom. Blimey 16 kids - they were definitely running her ragged. I'd be happy with 1 :(

Hugs and sticky baby dust to all :)

I was thinking about you yesterday ( not like that:o:rotfl:) so I'm glad to see you've posted:D

Will be thinking of you on tues:A

OPKs are a LOT cheaper on ebay. You can get bundles with HPT's as well;) I did get a pack of 25 and now they've all gone. I won't be getting anymore though. As some of the oldies (:p) will remember I got 2 positives one cycle (got a TLP that cycle too) and it put me off doing them anymore:o:confused:

Oooo better get ready for my course:eek:

    Hugs to all x

    Morning all you wonderful ladies.
We are a house full of germs!! DH has come down with man flu with a vengance!
I am off for my swine flu jab in a bit!
Then into town to do some retail thepary to cheer me up & get some more wedding pictures printed.
I am so happy that DH & I talked yesterday feel a lot happier this cycle we are going to try and if I can get my head around OV sticks then so much the better as I have NO idea when I OV as this month I had no SS at all!
Are the Superdrug/Boots OV sticks easier than the ebay ones??? I have got some ebay ones but they do take a lot of time and I would not have the time in the mornings to wait 30 mins etc? Is it ok to test in the evening???
If you can think it........it will happen
  • Hi Catw0man - thinking of you for your scan - I've got everything crossed that all is going well for you. I spoke to the mw briefly yesterday, and they're not offering me an early scan, which I was quite surprised about. I suppose I could probably make a fuss via my doctor and get one. But then again, this time I'm feeling quite queasy all day, which I didn't have for either of the previous ones, so I'm trying to be positive and take this as a good sign. Anyway, hugs from here - let us know how it goes....

Big congrats to 1more and moneyangel...:T
