  • Laura, I would have been 12 weeks this week as well, so know exactly how you're feeling. To make it worse, I wrote it in my diary at work (when I was still pregnant) and forgot about it, so there it was when I turned the page on Monday morning. (I mean I'd forgotten I'd written it, not forgotten I was 12 weeks :o)

My OH's reaction was similiar, he gave me a hug and said something like "Don't think about things like that" Easier said than done.

Hope you're OK anyway matey xxxxxx

Thanks, big hugs to you. In a way its nice to know people are feeling the same and that you are not the only one going through it.
My OH was in portsmouth today for work!!

    Good Morning All,

Ok I am confused. Today I am on CD29. As this is my first month of TTC, I have never counted the exact number of days of my cycle. However, they have always been a few days short of a full calendar month - ie Month 1 AF would arrive on 16th, and then Month 2 AF would arrive on 13/14th.

    *TMI Alert*

Normally whn AF comes, it comes early morning and I have major cramps and then full on flow - no faffing around. Anyway, so far I have had brown spotting since CD 27 - nothing even close to a full on AF. And sorry for the TMI, but I've had some brown egg white. Normally I wear tampons, but since I started spotting I've used pads so can monitor the spotting.

So I don't really know what my question is, but I just find it strange that I haven't had any AF cramps, or AF (which I do every month wothout fail), just this cruddy brown spotting, and its quite thick and generally crusty.

Sorry for the rather gross portrayal at this time of the morning - but any advice???

    Thank you :)

Thanks for that....was just having my jam on toast while reading thatsmiley-sick007.gif:rotfl:

It might be that things have changed now you're paying more attention to it....typical really:rolleyes: But what you describe sounds like my usual run up to AF so could be that coz you're thinking about it, you're subconsciously stressing about AF and delaying it a little...but thats just a theory:) Other than that....if it you don't get full blown AF in a week and a test comes up BFN get yourself to the docs just to check it out:)

    HTH x

:rotfl:- Maybe I should have waited til after breakfast time to post that. Sorry love :o

I think you're right - I'm so focused on what's going on with my menstrual cycle - my body's picking up on it and teasing me!! I even put on white knickers today - cos guaranteed I come on when I'm wearing white underwear lol.

I'm sooooo tempted to buy a pg test - but I just know if I get one at lunchtime today, AF will arrive before I get the chance to use it. And there's only a local chemist near my office who charge about £8 for a test (I know I've already looked :o). I think I will just wait and if still nothing by Saturday (testing day) I will do a test.
