as you all know (and are probably fed of up of hearing) i'm still waiting for AF after coming off the pill. Spoke to a dr yesterday and brought it up, was told, i should have had it by now, but my cycle will go back to how it was (which was very irregular) and to come back in a year if nothing has happened. When they will refer me for fertility advice but i won't qualify cos i'm too overweight. Guess we've got to hope that things happen naturally and soon. Any one got any ideas how to make it arrive (from days pre TTC when you actually wanted it to occur)?

sorry to keep boring you all. I did do a test yesterday just in case but it was negative which is what i was expecting.

Can't do anything about having to wait for referral, but if you are slightly overweight, you can sort that out while you're waiting (please don't be offended - after all, I need to lose 5 stone  so who am I to talk - back on the wagon again tomorrow though :D)

    Hello all

I went flying on some ice this morning on the way to the station, ended up at the urgent care unit with suspected broken ankle...thankfully only badly sprained (broken would've been a nightmare - long commute, live in upstairs flat, love walking, walking is part of my job...) . So have my feet up at home and am in my new pjs (which are so fab and come with both a vest top and a hoodie), though I have to go out later.

I'm absolutely shattered - sleeping badly at the moment, keep waking up boiling (since ov, guess temp is up) and have shed 2 blankets since ov!! Dh has been cold despite having the blankets, v odd. Think I'm just missing exercise (not that I do loads) and fresh air, bl**dy ankle isn't gonna help...
:rotfl::rotfl:Thank god I'm not the only tight bum lunatic wandering around looking for pg tests:D:D

I almost bought some in the 99p shop the other day....just didn't as I have 3xFRs and 5 strips from ebay already :rotfl:
Hi all...I have some strange browny discharge happening today...terrified it is the start of something bad :(
    hope all is ok hun.
Hi everyone, confused again today. My tempture has dropped down to 96.80, it had gone up yesterday to 97.60. Normally it has been 97.18.

Mine has been up and down - I think the change in temp outside can alter it too, plus what you eat and drink can have an effect. Mine alters a bit anyway, remember it's such an accurate thermometer it might seem like loads but isn't much.

Just going to sign up to vip on FF, only works out about a tenner for 3 months, think we can stretch to that! Also going to do some retail therapy from the sofa with my birthday money!

I am doing the weightwatchers online deal that Martin sent out in the email. if you use quidco it's basically a free 3 months.

I think it was polkadot who used agnus castus...just til ov and then some B vits afterwards....I'm sure she'll be lurking!

    Hi

I have spent the last two days reading through all these posts and I would really like to ask some advise.

How often should my husband and I be DTD if we are TTC?

I have read so many different things on various websites and getting very confused by everything!

Also I have been using an ovulation kit for a few cycles and I don't seem to have ovulated. The two lines are never the same colour? Are there any other good signs that I am ovulating?

    Thanks
    Lydia

Atleast 2 to 3 times a week to ensure you have a constant supply in your system to improve conception times making sure you are aware of when you ov. Also making sure you are taking folic acid for 3 months prior to ttc.

    What stef said:D:D ^^^^^^^^^^^^

When are you using the OV sticks?!?! I don't know much about them as I don't use them but the girls on here say to test in the afternoon as that's when ov tends to happen, so if you're doing it in the morning...don't, wait til the afternoon to POAS:)
Other signs of ovulation are EWCM(when cm looks like egg white/snot:o), some people get sharp stabbing pains in the sides or if you're anything like me you'll get spots:rolleyes: or you can check the position of your cervix...depends how 'in depth' you wanna go.

    Oh and Welcome:) xx

Yes I have been taking folic acid for about 4 months now.

Yes I was using them in the afternoon and I did all the dates as per the instructions -it says some people don't OV every month so maybe thats what's been happening.

    Thanks
