thanks astro, me too, I really didnt want that and I was worried about it as MC was different this time. But the bleeding has virtually stopped now, so feel like we can move on. Had a bad day yesterday, the hospital were pants when I called kept passing me round different departments. Then OH was short with me on the phone a coupe of times. Then he was having a go at me in the evening because he was late putting the kids to bed (his job, he doesnt have many and has always done it) and he wanted to go out. He did manage to get today off though so he could pick little one up from preschool whilst I was at the scan. Today has been so much better, really feel we can move forward.
Lildevil I think paracetamol is ok, at least it is in pregnancy. It was mentioned that NSAIDs can have an effect on ttc, so ibruprofen, diclofenac etc and these are not to be used in pregnancy either. I normally take ibruprofen for my period pains as they interact with the prostagladins or something and are more effective than paracetamol but I might aviod them a bit more now. I have no idea about the codiene.0 -

We tried the SMEP but it didn't work:rolleyes:
I've had baby cuddles today and now I smell of baby
Paracetomal is fine in pregnancy so shoul be fine in TTC... in fact they offered it to me when I was in labour with DS and I looked at them in disbelief!!! I wanted blimin more than paracetomal!:rotfl:(I was in A LOT of pain after being induced twice)
Codeine should be fine as well (but do double check) I hope so cos when my Crohn's plays up thats all I can take!BLOWINGBUBBLES:kisses2: SMARTIE120 -

Aw hun, sorry to hear things are a bit difficult at the moment, as others have suggested, go out on a date (pick him up in a bar), have a candlelit dinner, get some saucy outfits and suprise him when he gets home, give him a massage.
I haven't tried the date/picking up in a bar, but the others have worked in the past
Thanks LD can't do the going out to a bar thing as he is on duty but we are at a firework party so could try the same thing!!! Will report back!
THANK YOU WONDERFUL LADIES :TIf you can think it........it will happen0 -

Hi MERFE - good to hear you're having a better day today. It's bound to be up and down for a while, but hopefully the gaps between the downs will get gradually shorted, and not quite so far down.
Re the question of whether various meds are okay, my doc told me that I could take paracetemol and codeine for my migraines when ttc and pg, instead of my normal (horsepill!) tablets. But when I had a stonking migraine after each of the first two conceptions, I took these tablets, and can't stop myself worrying slightly that it might have been a contributory factor when I mc'd. So when I got a migraine again (probably due to the hormones) this time around, I must admit I didn't take anything. Silly I know, and I probably would take them if I ever get past the 3months stage, but just didn't want to take any extra risks at the mo. (Of course this isn't medical advice, just my opinion!) Check with your own doc and see what she says.
Big hugs to everyone.0
