I'm with you MV on the sex drive! I have absoloutely zilch libido but apparantly that's a side effect of the tumour (not sure what dh's excuse is though!) I do enjoy it though when we do but neither of us just have the inclination! I'm 36 too but can't say it's a particually new feeling.
Smartie the reflexologist said when I saw her that my womb was in a nice healthy clean state and just right for pg whereas some women need to have what she called a "blow out" to clear away all the rubbish lining bits etc so maybe this is what's happening to you. I did have something similar a few months ago.

Awww, don't worry moneysaver I'm sure Fuzz doesn't mean to be so mean :P

On the OV sticks, I know loads of people just never get +ives with them as the surge you get can be over and done with in a few hours. I tried them for a few days last month (what should have been the right days) and all I got was a really faint line on a couple of occassions.

Was annoying as the main point of using them was so I could see 2 lines on a stick....any stick...I just didn't care anymore!!

Lots of info on them here if you're bored; www.peeonastick.com !!

Thankyou for the link. Im sure fuzz didn't mean to either. :p to fuzz lol

Moneysaver12 - Last month was my first go with OV sticks and I didn't get a line either and I was pretty good at doing them at 2.00 pm in the afternoon (when your surge is supposed to appear) and for 10 days running. Whether that means they don't always work or I don't always OV - I don't know - I can only update you after doing them again this month.

To add my penny-worth to the discussion on BDing and sex drive - it is very hard doing it to order, not because we don't love our OHs but in a long term relationship you get into a routine and there isn't usually the time or inclination to go at it every day.

They might just not work for me, will see tomorrow. My dh came home and we have been bd, so going to keep bd and hopefully it will happen this month.

I thought it must have been something like that, it must have been a lot of posts that got deleted!!

I think i actually remember your 'virtual wedding' one night and wondering what you were all going on about (but then maybe I just saw it after it was in the email?). I used to post a tiny bit in the arms but never really kept up with it - not been down that far for ages now!

Our "virtual wedding" was 2 years ago on the 1st Dec! DH was going to find it and say happy virtual anniversary but forgot:rolleyes: I remember how shocked I was to sign in and to see that blowingbubbles had started a thread and lots of people were waiting for me. It was sooooo much fun and so many people were really great in joining in with the sillyness:D To think we hadn't even met then and we got married for real a year later!!:rotfl:

Oh and my post count and thanks is also quite high because I post comps every now and then;)
Smartie, the reason I asked is because I have to wait for 2 AF's before I'm allowed to ttc again, as they say this is when my body will totally get rid of everything that isn't supposed to be in there, so maybe it was the last bit? Then you can have a new year BFP ;)

That did cross my mind. And  yes... didn't think about the fact that it'll be NEXT YEAR the next time I'll be due to test. Unline some:p I have a much longer than 28 day cycle!
    about 7-10 days after ovulating

& for those finding TTC a bit dull - I find dressing up or setting my alarm a bit earlier always produced good results ( men are normally more in the mood am, morning glory and all that )

For some, who have been TTC for a long time, not even kinky clothing or alarm clocks would make TTC more exciting:rolleyes: (Turkey basters;)) My man is normally at work first thing in morning so no action for us! And please don't say set the alarm even earlier because not even DH could do much at that time!!:p

Smartie I'd love to hear about how you met your man, I know you met him on here but I'm still intrigued

Found out one of my work colleagues is 12 weeks today. This is me: :T:undecided:cry::embarasse:eek:confused::T:rotfl:

Hey ho, I feel like I'm a bit out of the loop on this thread, what with actually working during the day when I'm paid to work :p. Break up for two weeks next friday, did I ever tell you how much I love being a teacher!
    Updating soon...

Hiya all! Am posting on the 'Parents' and 'Pregnancy' threads too, so hopefully some of you will recognise me from there! I'm just so stressed atm, 36 weeks pregnant, moving house the day after tomorrow, going on maternity leave tomorrow, my washing machine packed up earlier on in the week, my boiler has now today packed up, my DD is still toilet training and my manager is being a cow (I did the 'classic' when leaving the loo at work the other day and she went and brought it up at my progress meeting the following day...).

I'm also running out of clothes as my BF had the smart idea of taking nearly all our clothes to the new house we're going to be moving into, not knowing that he would be asked to attend a work-related course in Germany until tomorrow...

And I keep needing to cross my legs...:o

Well today was my testing date, I am already 1 week late (which has happened before but is unusual as my cycle is about 23 days long (I think!) decided to test tonight as I have my works xmas party tomorrow night, and also another party Saturday night. Had arranged my taxi for tomorrow so I could get very merry. Well I had the shock of my life when I tested positive, I have seen so many negatives it seemed like my eyes, and brain could not process it. Passed it onto OH for him to confirm it, even though he was too grossed out to even touch it, men eh! Well I feel very scared right now, not expecting that at all. Not sure how accurate my tests are, as they are the first response early detection, so you can test upto 6 days early, and is testing when your 7 days late wrong? Well I might do another test tomorrow, too shocked to feel happy right now!! Need definate confirmation! I was expecting AF, I had period pains (still feel like I have) back pain, and OH reckoned I was a 'grumpy cow' lol. Oh well I shall see what happens!
  • Well me and OH managed to BD this evening..I basically pounced on him the moment I got in!

Did my ov test and got the dark pink line so fingers crossed. Going to have another go at it tomorrow night.
Metranil dreams of becoming a neon,
You don't even take him seriously,
How am I going to get to heaven?,
When I'm just balanced so precariously..
