Trying For a Baby part 4

Afternoon ladies. I'm loving scenic for a girl lol. Hope no ones got a Skoda!!!:rotfl:
I own some baby stuff despite not having any yetonly because my BF was clearing out some stuff and said if I didn't take it, it would go in the bin or to the charity shop!!
In the house already I have about 40 reusable nappies of varying sizes from newborn to 3 years. That'll save a fortune. When BF comes to stay after Christmas she's bringing me all her maternity clothes. Most of them were from Next and we've always been the same size.
TBH i'm not superstitious and if someones offering me free stuff because they need the space, i'm not gonna turn it down, because we have LOADS of space in this house and are gonna need all the help we can get. We also have on it's way from my sister, loads of baby boy & girl clothes from newborn to 3 years, the beautiful cot that my nephew currently sleeps in (paid £200 for) the travel system (mom & dad bought for around £350) and lots of other things. So wheres my BFP? lol :rotfl:
Not much else to tell you really. Was supposed to put the tree up this afternoon, but shopping took WAY longer than expected and we've got to cook yet. Sure it'll be fine for another night in the garage. Must make sure it has enough water......
Currently sat in front of the (real) fire (I love this house lol) contemplating a baileys whilst watching 24 hour Christmas movies on Sky lol.
SK xAfter 4 years of heartache, 3 rounds of IVF and 1 loss :A - we are finally expecting our miracle Ki11en - May 2014 :j
And a VERY surprise miracle in March 2017!0 -
SK - we were watching that channel earlier but DH got fed up and has turned over for football instead
I shall give DH credit where its due - he got the tree and deccies out of the loft and he helped me put them upWe have such an odd shape living room, that we have to move all the furniture to accommodate the tree. But I think it looks rather nice. Maybe we should all post our piccies of our xmas decs
Becs - I love that tree. If I had a conservatory I would def have one of those. Conservatory is on my wish list for next year, along with a new driveway
Hugs and sticky baby dust to all x0 -

Hi I'm sleepytiger and this is my son Rover and my daughter Toyota.:rotfl::rotfl:
Not sure these kids named after their place of conception is a good idea. Nobody wants to think about their parents having sex. I remember my teenage best friend being mortified because her birthday was almost 9 months after her parents weding anniversary. Plus, how many kids would be called bed or sofa. Teenage mums could call their kids park bench, bus stop or mcdonalds toilet :rotfl:
OH is in bed with man flu so watching the 24 christmas movies channel and making a start on the Christmas choccies. (Bad sleepy). We Bd'd for fun a couple of days ago and somehow I managed to pop a muscle just under my ribs out of alignment so good thing MMC has bunnies for next weekend and not this one.
No baby stuff as of yet. But hoping that I can inherit some from one of my sisters, assuming there are no more babies in the meantime. Plus I'm a bit superstitous about having the baby's room ready. I don't think I could go in there knowing that there is nothing to fill it. Hope that hasn't depressed anyone.
Really hoping that next Christmas there's a little stocking hanging over the fireplace for all of us. Sticky baby dust and Christmas BFPs for everyone.:A:A0 -
Well it looks like my doggy idea gets the thumbs up from you lot lol! Unfortunately OH saw my scribbles this morn and said there's no way we can get a dog right now, and it wouldn't be fair on him as he'd have to look after it due to me working full time and him not
. Oh well - good job I'm patient!
He didn't mind the housework points thingy though - thinks it will help me see how much he does....hmmmm...we'll see! Poor boy has been waiting to see a doc for an hour now and is apparently in loads of pain. I'm getting more of an 'odd feeling' when I wee rather than pain.
SK I'm loving the sound of that fire, its definately high on my wanted list when we buy somewhere. My parents have an open fire and MIL have a lovely wood burning stove so I get to snuggle up often, here we have a real flame gas fire thing but its just not the same and costs a fortune to run so we've not used it since last winter and doubt we will again (that and the fact its in a bloody stupid place).
QQuaver the one thing I've got is a moses basketto be fair its only because its a hand me down and was doing my sis a favour by taking it out of her packed house. My sister outlaw (is that what you say if they're not married) also has sorted out all her baby stuff for me but is holding on to it until I'm ready, so with a few gifts etc I can't see us needing to buy anything much at all :money:.
Proud to be a moneysaver! :cool:0 -

:TThank You sleepytiger what a beautiful thought xoxo :AIf you can think it........it will happen0 -
Thanks Sammy, I have to say we have spent a small fortune on this place! It did have a tiny conservatory when we bought it but it was the victorian shape so basically a rectangle with the corners cu off which made it totally useless! We sold it on ebay and someone paid us £80 for it and came and dismantled it! We then built the new one right accross the back of the house so it's 6m long! It is our favourite room, we use it as a second living room and dining room. It's great as dining room as we've had up to 12 of us sat comfortably at the table!
My one missing item from the wish list well 2 actually, 1 would be the logburner/open fire (just been to my bro's and he has just put one in although essential for Scotland! Very jealous as always had an open fire when we were growing up and I really miss it!) and secondly would be an ensuite! Although we have gone for luxury spec bathroom to make up for it.
Ah Maddie shame about the dog! My mum keeps saying about dh and I having ours because we're out at work all day! However the dog goes to work with dh so not an issue! We were saying today it's them that's irresponsible, they got a rescue dog a few years ago and it's always down to us to look after it if they're out for the day or going away etc. In fact we have to do a 90 mile round trip tomorrow because they're going out for sunday lunch so won't be tehre to feed him at usual time and would be leaving him for about 6 hours! Ours goes everywhere with us now. She's an old lady and she loves the car anyway so she comes in the car and if it's coll enough and she can't come with us she has her bed in the boot and she just curls up and goes to sleep. We bought her one of the non spill water bowls too so she has that in there too whilst we're driving and she's as happy as anything. Mind you it is an estate car and not a smart car so she does have plenty of room!0 -

Hi moneysaver12 glad you had a good time last night but sorry your feeling down today
maybe once you get used to the new anti-depressants you'll feel better (don't know anything about it though!).
In terms of the OV tests, it depends on your cycle length (base it on the shortest you had in the last few months) per the chart here http://www.peeonastick.com/opkfaq.html (FAQ q8). I tried to copy and paste but the formatting went mad!Proud to be a moneysaver! :cool:0
