I was having crampy pains this morning and was hoping it may be something good, went to the loo and lo and behold AF has arrived, really heavily too..going to have a nasty period I know

Try the ov stocks...I'm going to as well..lets see if we can't crack this thing!

Thankyou mv, sorry to hear that af has come. Where are you going to get you ov tests from. Im not sure where the best place to get them from is.

I feel sad. I feel like my body is letting me down. I think that im going to get a terrys chocolate orange after i have been to the gym. It just seems unfair that some people can get pregnant at the drop of a hat.

Moneysaver ((((HUGS)))) to you hun. I can completely empathise with you:( What cycle are you on?? I'm on cycle 9(I think!sounds better than 10 so I'm sticking with it:p) It is hard and unfair, especially when you're doing everything you possibly can.
For me the best way to cope is to make light of the situation and to try and remain positive, totally easier said than done I know.

Sorry if thats a ramble but I wanted you to know that you're definitely not alone:)

I know you've been trying longer than me, but I do know how you feel. I'm feeling very low today..a combination of hangover, tiredness and period pains

Stupidly even watching the Jeremy Kyle show is winding me up! Full of useless 'parents' who seem to be able to drop sprogs at the drop of a hat...yet then dont want to look after them! Its so not fair when there are swathes of lovely people (all the ladies here included and their OH's) who would give anything to have a baby....its so unfair :mad:

well af is due today but no sign YET!!!:D its been 2days late for the past 2months tho so wont get excited till monday!

Metranil; sorry you're feeling rubbish. It's entirely natural and I know it's so not fair; try not to watch JK as it really does make you sick to your stomach watching all the chavs and chavettes! Do Do Do try the OV sticks; I swear that if it wasn't for them I wouldn't have conceived as I had no real other signs of OV that I could see and FF and MMC all charted the 'hot' days incorrectly and inconsistently.

I got mine from superdrung on BOGOF and they are the poas variety and the line shows up; I found them simple to use but I do know that others have had results that are unclear. Someone mentioned some that show a happy face which may be better but no idea of the price.

When is OH back??? Can you not keep yourself busy by planning a lovely night in together for when he returns???

Keep your chin up though (although I do know what it's like so you have my every sympathy)

Metranil, I have used the ebay OV sticks - I used them for 3 cycles, and got pregnant in two of them when I had been struggling before. I had just ordered more when I found out I was PG, so if I still have a load left. I'd rather they go used than binned so if you want them drop me a PM then the fairies will deliver to you.

I will try the ov sticks..it is only the 2nd month I've tried so I know I shouldnt get so hung up. Think I'm just scared that at 36 it's going to be a lot harder than I thought. A friend of mine who is also trying to get preg told me that a dr told her that women our age conceive within 2 years :eek:

But thanks for the kind words..I've just had a nice hot bath and am feeling a bit better.

OH is away till Sunday. I'm seeing my best friend tomorrow night and staying over at her place so that'll be cool...its only this evening that I'm on my tod, and we have just had SKY installed so reckon I'll just veg out and watch some crappy tv

...and keep popping the anadin...AF has come with a vengance this month!
