I'm struggling to keep up on here and parents thread too as well as looking after Alfie. Can't believe he's almost 2 weeks old! Still don't feel like I know what I'm doing though! He is good though, still sleeping a lot through the night, only waking up for feeds approx 4 hours apart so counting myself lucky0 -
i hate spending every single weekend at home :-( none of my friends invite me out anymore because i guess they'll assume i won't feel like it because i'm pregnant

Are you close enough to any of them to suggest that you could go with them sometimes?
I've just made some banana and sultana flapjacks from a cow and gate mailing that came this morning! I'm craving sweet things all the time and thought that these might be a bit more nutricious than the normal cr*p that I'm eating!
I've tasted the mixture and it was bloomin gorgousAs an added bonus DH hates bananas and won't touch them woooooo

What are you taking into hospital to eat during/after labour?
I was thinking for me:
Oaty Bars
Fruit Salad (i'll make in first stages)
Sandwichs (Make in firststages)
Water
and my energy tablets
I dont know what to do for OH though, he is allergic to fruit, wont eat oaty bars, sandwichs or anything really.
He can either go get a McD from round the corner or just pack chocolate and crisps lol.
I've stocked up on vegetable soup to eat when im at home as it wont be to heavy on my stomach but still fill me up0 -
You;ll be pumpy lol
I honestly havent thought about what food to take in, I am going to have to think of that now lol your list sounds cool though
OH has already said he is going to McDonalds lolDebt £30,823.48/£44,856.56 ~ 06/02/21 - 31.28% Paid OffMortgage (01/04/09 - 01/07/39)

i bought dr browns anti colic bottles today in john lewis 1/2 price £3.25 each only the singles on sale but i had the last in cardiff only 4 left so still need to but 2 or 4 more????
kind of no i never said anything to mil about showing up at hospital i cant believe i never, gosh how ive changed in 8 years
smarties glad to see your ok
ea i never took food into hospital there is a cafe in the hospital for dh and i couldnt of eaten when i labour0 -
Well if i give birth in the birthing centre, McD's, KFC and Subway are literally round the corner in the retail park.
If i have to go to hospital the McD's is a while away and there aren't many shops near lol.
So he has to decide what he wants me to bring in for him lol
eta: The hospital has a resturant i know that. But the birthing centre is the only open section of the old hospital so no resturant or anything. Infact its scary to walk through the corridors knowing that the building is deserted, meep!0 -
I really wish I could feel my little bean (i'm 18+2) but I'm positive i haven't felt a thing yet0
