:smileyheaMummy to my lil' man born '05:smileyhea:j Baby boy due May 2010 :j0 -
hello girls, only posted on here once before
this is my third baby, my due date is today, found out yesterday my iron levels is quite a bit low so have been changed from low risk up to high risk  means i can no longer birth at my local hospital and have to travel to the city, although obviously that means more medical help which can only be a good thing but its worrying me with talks of transfusions as my previous two were natural and last one I didnt even have any pain relief :j
I started on my iron tablets (4 a day  ) and woke up at 3am this morning with horrendous vomiting (tmi sorry!) and also a bit out of the other end, i have been sick from 3am til 7am, thankfully havent been since but still have the poopies
some people have said maybe its the start of labour? i am having pains but dont know if its my intestines or babyanyone else experienced what appears to be a tummy bug at the start of labour?
Hi atwitsend
Yes, my last labour started exactly like that, I remember the night before she was born sitting on the loo with the runs( TMI but to the point where I daren't leave the toilet) and then I was feeling like I was going to be sick too and had THE WORST heartburn ever and only had those chewy chalky tablets:( so was sat with about 10 of those in my mouth dribbling out. Not attractive! Thought I had a bad stomach but seems it was just my body clearing out!
Oooh how exciting good luck, hope all goes really smoothly and as pain free as poss:jBusy mummy of 4.:j0 -

Couldnt find any icing sugar anywhere that I could walk to though.... drats no tottenham cake!
However Som - I hope you dont mind, but I've stolen your valentines idea
Picked up a large kilner jar from dun dun dun £1-land....... and I'm gonna buy (nearer the time) some pick and mix foam hearts.... he'll love it, greedy guts...
I had thought of maybe doing biscuits and then icing them, but i couldnt find a cutter anywhere....Wealth is not measured by currency0 -
i asked her for advise on anything i should be taking , i said i was drinking RLT and some friends of mine had said its good to take calcium and EPO , and she looked at me shocked and said , we dont advise on calcium or EPO , i asked why , and she just said its something we dont advise , also there has never been any evidence in taking RLT to benefit mothers to be , but she said its a herbal tea so to carry on if i was enjoying it, so i am going to continue with RLT but not take anything else
ThanksI was wondering about the EPO cos it says not to take when pregnant?
CAFC sorry the house wasnt great
Courgette (((hugs)) I am sure everything is fine, my symptoms disappeared early as well
SJ - Me too I dont even want to tell anyone when I go into labour, I want me and OH to go to hosp and then tell people once baby is here
LOL SJ give OH a slap!!! silly man!

Just to update you all. I gave birth to a lovely little girl on Wednesday night at 10.09pm. She weighed in at 8lbs 3ozs and we have called her Jessica Evie.
Yey Congratualtions Emma! And welcome Jessica  Lovely name. We had Jessica on our girls list too!Thank you ladies, I feel much better now. Might even move in - I'm nearly 12 weeks and able to believe there might actually be a small person turning up in a few months afterall! :j:j
Seriously, really reassuring. Thank you
xxx
Bless your OH. Sometimes we forget how stressful it is for our OH's too. Glad you are feeling better thoughBut I was sick today:j:j:j
So my DH is back in the good books. After going out in a huff to buy a pump he came back an apologised, and brought me a creme egg :T
CAFC hope this next viewing goes better and that you can work out a way to afford it if it's nice. Oh and I've checked one place for that book and can't find it, so I think it must be in the attic room. I'll make the effort to go up there later and look!!
Gymfriend forgot to say earlier, your IL's make me so mad! How rude to invite you out then actually ask you to pay! I hinestly don't know how you put up with it and what a shame it always ends with you and OH falling out over it. Hope they change their minds about moving back over!0 -
Aww hun, dont worry too much bout it.... Im content to sit on my !!!! LOL
Nikkit - Crikey that sounds stressful! Hope its all ok.....big hugs
Im getting takeaway tonight YAY! Cant decide between a burger and chips, or something else....Wealth is not measured by currency0
