Thanks Gill, I've tried Matalan & Asda and not any, will give Mothercare a go this week :)

Thanks PP that's really kind of you :D Without meaning to be cheeky, any chance of seeing a pic? Only I'd hate for you to send it then not wear it IYKWIM?

I officially have no clothes - I've got one pair of mat jeans that my mum bought me ages ago, and a few tops & one dress...even my tracky bottom house pants are getting tight  I feel so fat it's unreal, I was looking in the mirror yesterday almost crying to OH that i had fat folds in my legs!!! I think mat jeans are pants - these ones are from Topshop & are so loose in the waist I almost flash my bum everytime I get up or down, but they're really tight in the bum/top of the leg  Can't wait to get back into normal wear!

I have these jeans and I find them quite comfy, far better than those with the panels in the pockets (yes, I do a fair bit of bum flashing with those on too!). That said, I'm only going on 16 weeks (though I wasn't small to start with so belly seems to have expanded at a horribly fast rate!) so they may fit differently as things grow more. I usually find New Look jeans comfy so might be worth trying them on if you have a store near you.

I know Som there is loads, apparantly its forecast for all week, I really need wellies or something, I only have cotton shoes (TOMS shoes) and I currently wear backless trainers for work cos they are comfy, well they arent going to be very good in snow are they lol

Twinkles08 I feel the same, I was saying to OH this morning I dont know how I am going to continue at work for much longer, I have been sleeping from 10pm till like 10am sometimes longer! I have 5 more weeks at work and I have to get up at 5.45am I dont know how I can do it (I have 9 weeks till elliot is due)

PP - Aww tell me about it, I am sick of wearing the same things, I dont actually have many things to wear. And I am itching to play my biggest loser usa wii game (which I got my brother to get me for christmas)

I am keeping my Christmas Money and I always promised myself once I lost weight (I was dieting before pg) that I would get myself a pair of Diesel jeans, and I am determined to get them lol

Gymfiend - No we only bought about 7 of them lol, we've just bought 3 more :o so he has 19 Newborn ones and 10 0-3 months, that will be enough won't it? I am stressing now, I have a pair of mat jeans from Peacocks and they are a lifesaver, they have a bump band attatched to them.

I am starting to get a little scared lol, beany might be here in 9 weeks  and I am scared I am not ready.

I was suddenly thinking today, I dont have any thermometers, any baby blankets, sleeping bags etc ARGL

Following on from my post on thurs, OH has foned the duty mw to describe my symptoms as discharge has gone from a very washed out pink to more of a deep pink/red. She told him to phone out of hours gp and go from there. So gp rings what seems like an age later to say it does not look promising and why have i not had any scans done??!! Told him only officially found out tues i was preg and saw midwife who just asked me to go along to clinic tomorrow with a water sample.

He has made me an apptment at local PCT to see a gp @ 3.40 and told to rest till then. If i cant get a scan today at hospital got to go to normal gp tomorrow and get letter to have one done at hospital.

Stef sounds like a very stressful time for you. How far along are you? I think you definitely need to try and get a scan done as soon as possible, for your own peace of mind if nothing else.

My advice (I had spotting at 8 weeks and the oncall midwife advised me to do this) would be to go to a & e first thing tomorrow and let them refer you to the EPU for a scan. I got one within a few hours. Really hope everything is ok for you.

    Hello Everyone!

Need some advice, what is the best steriliser to buy? And bottles etc? I am planning on trying breastfeeding but would like to buy a steriliser etc for when we start bottlefeeding or if breastfeeding doesn't work out.

Jolene I dont know which are the best (maybe the parent thread would?) but I am hoping to Breast Feed but I want OH to feed as well, so we are hoping to express, I have bought a Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature manual breast pump (if it works well I will get a electric one) and we have Tommee Tippee Closer to Nature Bottle and TTCTN Dummies as well

They are designed to be like the breast

Stef I have everything crossed for you, I had spotting at the start but it wasnt pink, but like Gill said everything worked out ok for her (((hugs)))

Thanks Twinkles, will go look there too :) We've got one just down the road from us - will get OH to take me this week, poor b*gger has most of the week off & it'll be spent shopping for baby clothes and at hospital appointments, fun!

Stef lots of sticky bean vibes for you, really hope it's good news & you manage to get seen quickly, xx

Kindof I guess you'll prob have enough? esp as people will probably buy when baby arrives? & also, if you find you don't have enough 0-3 you can pop out & buy them when he's a few weeks old, as you'll have enough newborn to do him til then :D

Oooh exciting news on wedding planning, well, sort of, though we've not decided exactly what to do, we're going to look at rings on Tuesday :) My mum's going away in March to Asia where jewellery is mega cheap so she said if we pick what we want & get measured up, she'll buy them as our wedding gift :D I'm so chuffed, we were meant to be going away too & had planned to do this, but then baby decided he'd be due right when we were gonna go!

Just been chatting to my mum regards baby care too, OH & I felt a bit bad that we'd be relying on her 5 days a week once I'm back in work, but she's assured me she can't wait and does not mind one bit :)

Esio those jeans look nice :) I'm too cheap to buy anymore now though, 9 weeks and counting!!
