  • We'll been for my scan, everything is ok. Measuring 7 + 4 and I reckoned I was 7 + 1 so not too far out. They were able to pick it up through the belly so no internal:j. A word of warning I started to drink 1 1/2 litres of water one hour before the scan and I was told my bladder was almost empty but they could still see. By the time I got out of the hospital I was practically wetting myself, so my advice would be start drinking water 2 hours before an apt where you have been asked to have a full bladder to give it time to filter through.

PP do you have a tens machine for the belly pain, otherwise changing position regularly, hot baths & paracatomol ( sp) for the pain
    here's some other ideas

, as for teeth early this year I had the most awful dental pain ( had to get a root canal ) try sleeping with your head propped up on pillows ( reduces the blood flow to the head ) I also find Corsodol mouth wash very good for helping clear any infections

    good Luck with both

    MLSL

    Yay for the scan :j:j:j

Dont have a tens machine didnt see the point in getting one i managed without one with the other two :rotfl::rotfl: and im doing all the others already its very slowly getting worse i think could be in for a long one though :o someone must be getting their own back for the super quick labours i had with both DD's :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

My tooth actually isnt that bad today though i dont want to speak to soon :rotfl: sleeping thats a novelty at the moment :rotfl::rotfl: my head is resting on approx 8 pillows though so im well propped up :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:

Just strange adapting to a pregnancy i think. When i were pregnant with my daughter who is now 15 i had no symptoms and didnt need maternity wear, i was still wearing my normal clothing as i went in to have her by CS. She was born weighing 3lb 11oz and 4 weeks prem. My DS1 was 6lb and again no symptoms and i only gained a little weight, DS2 14 months later came in weighing 8lb4.5oz and i got huge with him but no symptoms at all. Then fast forward to today never used contraception and had all tests going by dr and fertility clinic to find out why and ended up on Clomid. Had 3 months continual use of it, 2 months break as couldnt get app with consultant and then prescribed a further 3 months, first lot of this course and i catch after using folicular scanning. Now with all symptoms previously mentioned it is a little worrying.
:j Was married 2nd october 2009 to the most wonderful man possible:j

    DD 1994, DS 1996 AND DS 1997

Lost 3st 5lb with Slimming world so far!!

Arrgghh HMRC are so annoying, every time I ring them to find out about my HIPG I get a "sorry all our opperators are busy please call back later" message, then they hang up on you grrr. Have now sent an email but it says not to include any personal detials for security so dont see how thats gonna help. I had my letter on 15th and it said 7 days for payment, now its 16! So fustrating.

Am currently been beaten up by baby girl, but I quite like it hehe.

PP - I think your MW needs a good whack round the head! Hope your bump decides what it doing soon xx

I would say there's a good chance they actually mean working days. I hate the way xmas slows everything down!!

Kindof - its deffinatley not gone in the bank yet, but good idea. I seemed to have locked myself out of my internet banking but might get OH to double check. Tho money is tight so hope I wouldn't have noticed that extra.

Nikkit - wowser you have been busy, glad you got there with the moses basket tho. Enjoy your night out x

Mylilsis - Fab you saw everything ok on your scan, I still remember how fab it felt seeing that lil HB for the first time.

Stef - glad doc seems ok with you, I had similar situ and was told the same about lack of pain not to worry but monitor it. As for the headaches I also suffered real bad with those, but like you am a miagraine sufferer and it is just one of those annoying PG things am afraid. I saw the doc about mine who recomended resting as much as poss as well as the usual paracetamol (which she prescribed me a shed load of) and lots of water. They did eventually clear up tho, and only get a mild headache once in a while now.

EA - thats not good that your doppler is broken, glad lily made her self known in the end tho. Have visions of you in the fridge tho with various items against bump hehe.

PP - Pain free labour vibes for you hun x

How board am I have just been making a list for my labour bag and what I still need to get. Also had a good play with the camera, shame nothing to take a pic of atm, maybe do one of bumb later hehe.

And :rotfl: to the fridge thing :rotfl:
If i ever had to do that would prob be the freezer cause its at bump height and a perfect size :j
