  • I always miss out on Christmas pasty / sandwich type things as they all have meat in them (and I don't eat meat)!

Back from MW (in super quick time as the person before me couldn't be arsed to wait). All good, have to go back next week for a sweep and to book induction if I'm still around. Baby is 3/5 engaged which MW said is good, even though it's not fully engaged.

EA-forgo your Strawberry Ribena and buy a ticket!

On BH- I only realised I was getting them a few weeks ago, but in hindsight I've been having them for a while, they just weren't strong enough for me to know what they were. I get a fair few now though and there's no mistaking them.

Just scoffed some tortilla chips and guacamole for a late lunch and am now off to see Grandparents. I think everyone's worried I'm sat at home moping, but really I'd love to just lie on settee and watch Sky+!

    Your right!!

The cost in the UK will rise to £2 per line from 7th November 2009 as the ticket will then include the Millionaire Raffle Game where every week one UK player will win £1 million. This is the standard price in all the countries mentioned above. Prizes, aside from the jackpot, are sized according to participation per country.

But it doesnt start till sat so we may be ok on fri?

Thats not fair, what if i dont want to play the raffle game! lol.

    Ok little rant:mad:

A guy just called up and come through to me and started shouting that he was on the other phone to cancellations and they weren't doing something he wanted (couldn't understand accent) and he asked for there name and agent ID but they didn't understand him. He then starting shouting at the person on the other phone whilst im on the other line, then he came back to me and said "sorry about that"
I said it was ok, and he went "ITS NOT OK IS IT, IM ON THE PHONE AND (couldn't understand next bit)" but i understand that they weren't doing something he wanted lol.
Then he asked for my Name and Agent ID, started shouting at me and put the phone down!:mad:

So now if he writes a complaint in, he's got my agent ID which means the complaint will come down to me, and i didn't do anything wrong! And the call recording function is broke so i cant use that to prove my innocence

    Rant over :p

    It also says:

  • EA - oh the joys of working in a call centre :( I worked for Aviva, before it was Aviva - infact when it was still blimmin Barclays Home Insurance and then taken over by stupid Norwich Union. Some of the nightmare calls i used to get :mad:
Then i worked for the dreaded NCP (no connection to traffic wardens might i add ), lol, there was no call recording then so if they were rude with no good cause they'd get hung up on and couldn't get out of the car park :p - they'd have to call back and be polite then i'd be nice and let them out. And i was known as the nice person at work, so god knows why people felt the need to hurl abuse at me:confused:. I was the softie who always felt sorry for people so let them out free if they were in a pickle, lol! :D

Oh, just picked up my notes and i'm going to be booked in with a consultant due to my weight - nice one  My BMI works out as 16, very low i know but i am teenie tiny, and have light bones, lol, my mum does too! My health has always been down as fine as i have always been checked up on and i eat like a pig but this midwife seems to think i need special care :mad::mad:
She has noted in brackets though ''(petite in size)''

This really peeves me off as all my health records are down as being underweight but no signs of any bad health :mad::mad:

Still if i was that unhealthy i would hardly have had a perfect pregnancy last time round, been able to breastfeed no probs (no supplementing needed), perfect periods and be pregnant again!!! Grrrrrrrr!

  • Congrats Karen! Well done for no pain relief too - I'm having a home hypno birth so am hoping to be able to feed back the same shortly :-)

Regarding BHs, I've had them all the way through this time. I tend to think they are making my body practice for labour and will make the real contractions more effective, so don't let them bother me if I can help it.
