  • Massive labour vibes Beenie!!! hopefully this will be her on her way for you :j

    Labour vibes to maz too!

Congrats to Andrea!! Love the name :D

Well im still snowed in it does seem to be clearing a little bit though  have got a cold, been up since 6 coz i felt sick and i woke the kids up at 8 coz i was bored :rotfl:
Wrapped up all the xmas presents last night and have completly run out of things to clean, tidy, wash etc etc the nesting is getting that bad im thinking about starting to paint rooms that dont need doing  thank god i dont have any paintbrushes :rotfl:
I really need to go into town today well i dont i just need something to do :rotfl: i dont think im going to be able to make it out alive though :rotfl: exaggerating me no never :rotfl:
  • Oh - you are waiting for DHL too? I was supposed to get a parcel from them on friday that didn't come, put it down to the weather but all our snow and ice has cleared up down here now.

Our post office has been closed since thurs morning due to 'adverse weather' - funny how every other shop in the village opened up no problem each and every day. I know there are genuine cases of can't get to work but i think some see the snow and just think ''yippee a day off''. Prob is ours is a big main post office (the only one) so put half the town in backlog. Grrrr! So now today i am having to fork out for next day delivery on my ebay parcels as most were intended for xmas.

Can i ask if you called a main DHL office or just the local one? - my local one doesn't answer the phone at all.

Funny you've been talking about pelvic pain cos after a lazy day of keeping the sofa warm, i'm getting the most intensive pain when i try to stand up, feels like the bone has snapped in two but is bearable once i'm up.

This is what I was feeling yesterday afternoon...seems to be the same in the morning. It's the initial standing up & trying to walk (feels like pelvis is broken) but once I'm up and have taken a few steps, am fine? Then starts all over again next time I stand up. I know I was convinced the baby was engaged before, but now I really AM convinced.

Sooooo if bouncing on these balls make baby press on the cervix and can kick start something, won't me just pressing on baby's bum have the same effect?
    I don't have a ball lol

:rotfl: I confess to a few gentle prods on the bum to see if it gets bubs moving south!! :rotfl:

I know I should be in bed, but so excited... Scan tomorrow! It does occasionally occur to me that the scan is being done for serious check the health of the baby reasons, but I keep thinking it's just a sexing scan! I wanna find out. And I hope everything is okay. It's gonna be a long wait till 3pm...
    Eeek!

    Good luck today!!

Am having pains but nooooo idea if it's the start.

It woke me up and i felt i needed the loo so thinking baby is just engaging. Some have been really painful though
oOOO, do the pains come and go in waves or are they just when you move around? Mine are just when I move around, which means it's muscles not contractions, bah.

Very good, Bear! But just to be a weeeee bit picky - these aren't the same as the £45 pillow (which I own ). Still dead cheap for a body pillow though (I think that style runs at £20-25 in Mothercare) and most people will prolly find it just as good. The £45 Dream Genii is shaped a bit different and lets you flip over without moving the pillow - also has a bit to go behind your back.
I really need to go into town today well i dont i just need something to do :rotfl: i dont think im going to be able to make it out alive though :rotfl: exaggerating me no never :rotfl:

This is sooo how I feel. I'm sick of inventing chores to keep my busy, but if I DON'T invent chores, I go even more crazy! :p

Okay since baby wasn't born over the weekend, it now needs to hold of 'til at least Christmas so we don't have to pay Congestion Charge to drive to hospital :rotfl: :rotfl: (JUST KIDDING, BABY, PLEASE COME NOW!!)

  • I think everyone has a cold at the mo - DD is having the day off of nursery as she is really bunged up and coughed badly all night long. Hasn't stopped her playing, just don't want to pass it to the other kiddies so close to xmas ;) The staff seemed genuinly upset over the phone that they might not see her before xmas too.

OH has it too - he was supposed to start at 6am, he woke up at 6.40am and could barely move bless him. He doesn't get sick much or usually just fights through it so i do feel sorry for him. I hope i'm not jinxing it but i seem to be getting away scott free - every morn i wake up with a sore throat or blocked nose and think ''oh no'' then down a tea of lemon and honey and seem to be fine for the rest of the day. It's been like that every morning since thurs :D

Omg, she came all by herself! Am at home we're fine, perfect birth i can't believe it happened, i was nine days over! I'm on my phone cos i can't be bothered to go get laptop, can't do numbers cos its broke lol, but seven pound three, and she came at six forty four am. She wants to be on the boob all the time so only just got her off and put her down. Mother was with me in the end, it all went perfect but obv at the time i thought i couldn't do it lol. Waters didn't break til just before pushing stage, two big pushes and she was out and cried straight away, and i didn't let go of the gas for ages haha
