My Baby This Week - your 1 week old
Your baby's been here just a week, but it may seem as though you've lived a lifetime in that week. Lack of sleep, breastfeeding challenges, and recovery from the birth may be slowing you down. But don't despair: it will get easier! Your newborn is settling into life — still eating and sleeping around the clock — it will take her some time to distinguish day from night. She's probably also spending a few hours each day quietly and alertly absorbing her new environment.

I think i'm gonna have to come to terms with the fact that i'm gonna get induced on Boxing Day.
My friend was saying how crap it would be if i ended up giving birth on Xmas Day, but honestly i'd be over the moon, i'd get my home birth and not need induction. All this after 9 months of praying for a non-Xmas Day baby, now i want one :rotfl:
Midwife should be here soon for sweep, and i've put my new sheets on my bed hoping sod's law will take effect and my waters will pop all over them :rotfl:0 -

Gill - havent seen anything yet about that cot get a further reduction so am guessing it wont go any further down. Altho as I'm not there now till jan I wont be able to update you, its a popular cot bed tho so will move fast if it does. Oh and the over doing it thing is the conclusion that me and OH came to. Have felt really well so think that kinda lulled me into a false sense of being, anyhoo shall most certainly be taking it far easier now. So much so OH has told me no yoga tomorrow, which is gutting cos I really enjoy it and its my last sesh and was paid up front
But really in the scheme of things not so important as mine and bubs health.
nikkit - there are some fab bargains in the mat sale at work, I managed to pick up a new swimming cosie reduced from £22 to £6 and that was before my discount, and a two pack of long sleve t's (one black one white) reduced from £16 to £4, that was wed night. OH joked the bleed was sods law cos I finally got a mat cosie and was due at aqua on Thur, so wont get to wear till jan 7th nowWill only get 2 months use out of it!

I've just got back from my 4d scan!!!! :j:j:j
Heavenly isn't the word, the scan was amazing. Both our girls were delighted to see their little brother and he pleased the sonographer by being very active and 'a delightful babe to scan'. The poor woman before us had to rebook as her bub wouldn't turn even after 3 separate attempts, she looked so disappointed.
We have pics and a 7 minute long dvd of sir-wriggles-a-lot which is totally gorgeous, this one is my favourite....
Yes he's hugging his cord lol, we reckon its cos he knows thats where his dinner comes from!:heart2: Mumma to DD 13yrs, DD 11yrs & DS 3 yrs. :heart2:0
