Im taking real food to, its just if i need a quick energy boost to get me through. I've read about it in my many baby books lol.
Im taking some oaty bars i know that, apples are a good idea. Maybe some grapes or something to
I cant have anything with peanuts in as OH is allergic and i can only eat them if i brush my teeth afterwards, which i wont be able to do during labour.

Oh i forgot you lived in London, its very expensive there!

My Dad gets Graze boxes delivered, and has a stack pile of loads of them in his cupboard which have long use by dates on them. I think you can get a free offer on them, they might be good for getting and storing to take. He's had dried fruit mixes, berries, nuts, yoghurt covered things, good portions as well.... maybe theyd be good ?

Esio you made me laugh with the "down south" comment. I'm a Fifer and totally agree with you that anywhere in England is "down South" :rotfl:

I'm half Fifer - I just don't tell many people, what with me living on the other side of the Forth! :rotfl:It's funny, I wonder if people refer to us as "up north"

I'm about as far down south now as you can get without leaving the country lol but I lived in Glenrot[STRIKE]hes[/STRIKE] for 18 years.

It's fine, you could drink real wine if you wanted. Think you're allowed a couple of glasses a week. It would knock me for six though if i tried :rotfl:

yes, general UK advice is you can have 1-2 units 1-2x/wk. So that tiny amount is more than fine! :)

    Evening all,

Happy due date Beenie! Hope you're enjoying the X Factor. Glad your mum & sis seem to have put aside their differences too & are helping you :D

Lovely pics EA :) I wonder that about names too...what if baby doesn't look like the name we picked  We don't have a back up!

Lol Moo I was imagining your OH as a chippendale or something in the cowboy gear...!!!

CAFC lovely name :) I love Isla too, in case his bits fall off in the next few weeks :p

Kindof don't worry about the wine, it's pretty much nothing! On a side note...OH's mum is a recovering alcoholic and has 'dealcoholised wine', which is about .05% too...I always want to ask why it doesn't count, cos it's still alcohol, right?

I'm sooooooo bored, sat in on my own as OH is out babysitting his niece (am I awful for not wanting to go?! I just can't say I find sleeping babies particularly fascinating :o though of course I fully expect everyone will find mine fascinating :rotfl:). Been looking online at jobs to see what's around, eek, makes me nervous that post baby I'm gonna struggle to find a job I want with a wage I'd like, scary. Have also been nosing on Weezl's mfw thread & thought we'd not seen her on here in a while, hope all's well Weezl if you're lurking ever

Managed to all but finish Xmas shopping today - just got OHs sis to buy vouchers for. We were planning to do it Monday but as I was out and about anyway thought I'd get it finished, managed to get odds & ends for various people from Boots with my advantage card points & got OHs nephew some alien making kit thing from Play for a fiver :money: All wrapped and ready now, so chuffed it's all done :T

Lots of labour vibes for Always & Beenie xx
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j
