PP don't worry too much - they'll be ok in a pan - just remeber to cover most of it so they don't jump out!!! Mine have lived in really mucky fishtank water for about a month as i can't lift the thing and they are ok! They also both jumped out of the plastic cup onto the floor a few times each last time i cleaned the tank, i was surprised they didn't die - they are blimmin strong little !!!!!!s, lol!
Aw my daughter is the same, can't stay still for more than 10 seconds, tell her not to drop something and it's the first thing she does, not on purpose mind you!
Haha EA, well my knickers have ended up in the neighbours garden before, more than once due to the wind blowing them off the line so i stick mine on the radiators now too. Worst thing is it's not the last time i'm going to see this plumber, he's due back in a few days - i might just hide. Or i might make sure i have a decent face of make up this time just so he knows for sure it was my daughter not me lol!!!Mummy of 3 lovely munchkins :smileyhea0 -

OMG i'm a nervous wreck DD is away to the pictures with just her and a friend, first time i have let her go anywhere without adult supervision, but i need to let her grow up, and have some responsibility. OH is dropping off at the cinema now then the other girls dad is collecting them. Wonder what i will be like when she gets the bus for the first time, OMG i'm one of those suffocating mothers:rolleyes:

Urgent!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
OH has just suprised me with a luxury steak and kidney pie for dinner to cheer me up. Are we allowed to eat kidney??? I know liver is a no no but arent kidneys practically the same?
Its packed with them as well!!!

I think so, Fishcake. The NHS site for what not to eat doesn't mention anything, nor do my books. I'd imagine it's OK so long as they are cooked through, same as any other meat. Plus, from memory, I don't think there's the same level of vitamin A in kidney as liver.
ETA basing my guess on things I can't find, rather than anything that says it's OK
ETA again!Meat, especially organ meats (such as liver and kidney), provide some of
the best sources of iron. Iron from meat is absorbed better than iron from
plant sources. However, liver should be taken in moderation to avoid
excess intake of vitamin A.
no mention of moderating kidney consumption there0 -
Kidney is fine Fishcake, in fact it's a good source of ironCross Stitch Cafe member 710

Fishcake i done a search and kidneys never show on the do not eat section so you should be fine. i know liver is a no go, which peeves me off as i'm strange and really like liver lol[STRIKE]Little bump 3 on it's way[/STRIKE]:j
