OMG im having an absolute nightmare
Im ready to burst into tears over 2 fish !!!!!!!!!!
As you know i was going to take DD's to see father christmas today, they have already seen him once but wanted to go again coz they missed seeing him at the bazaar yesterday. Anyway when we got there the queue was massive and when i asked how long the wait was going to be they told me about an hour  There was no way i could have stood up waiting for an hour for them 2 spend 2 mins to see father christmas (dont get me wrong but if i didnt look like i was about to explode then i would have) so instead i managed to convince them that we would get 2 goldfish instead (already had the tank in the cupboard and it was fine last week when i moved it from one cupboard to another) So we got these 2 fish and i rang for a taxi as i had got the xmas tree from asda too (down from £25 to £23 now btw!) i asked DD1 to hold the fish so i could get her sister out the buggy, i specifically said to her dont drop them.... first thing she does is drop them on the floor then the bag starts pouring out with water
Taxi driver was really good about it and someone ran into asda for me and got some more bags to put round it all the way home the taxi driver was rushing telling the cars to move out the way coz she had 'broken waters on board':rotfl::rotfl::rotfl::rotfl: Luckily they werent mine :rotfl::rotfl:
Got them home and chucked them straight in a saucepan then pulled the tank out to find there is a huge crack in the bottom of it
Tried ringing the local pet shop which i now find out has closed down and the nearest one means going back into town again  Have put them in the cracked tank at the mo luckilyit is just dripping with 3 tea towels underneath it and im just gonna have to keep an eye on it and try and get a replacement one tomorrow.
Starting to think it would have been less stressful to stand and wait for father christmas for an hour now0 -
i have translator on mine too ,, now i have a baby turning rond and round saying 78 days to goDont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec0

PP , just put the tank ( well if bigger enough) inside say your washing up bowl , with water in both , and then it should last without leaking make sure there is enough water in washing up bowl to cover the fish tank water so it doesnt leak IYSWIM till you can get to town tomorrow , or leave them in a pan till tomorrow they will be fine,Dont forget that little Thanks button , only takes a sec0

It wont let me have both
PP, If the tank does go completly try putting them in the bathroom sink or in a washing up bowl or something lol.
And dont worry, fish cant be traumitised. They forget everything after 5 seconds anyway lol x0 -

Ah thats a relief, JLS, i actually end up singing along because of madam haha!
OMG my embarrassing one that is on my ipod is backstreet boys, lol, i think i know all of the words to nearly all of the songs, hehe. That said i was madly in love with Brian when i was young and then AJ as i got older, hehehehe!!! I don't want them to make a comeback though as i'm a little scared they'll ruin my fond memories of them hehe. Them and i do secretly like Take That now, but not so much before.
Well i don't know what i have done but bubs is kicking me repeatedly for about the last 10mins, it's still really low down along my c-section scar but it's the most active bubs has been yet. And also the first i have been to feel bubs kicking from the outside, if that makes sense.
EA well you think that was bad, OH is at work today and arranged for the plumber to fix our tap but forgot to tell me he was coming....earlier today DD done my make up (she has one of those barbie make up sets to stop her playing with mine). Well i had forgotten and the plumber came, i opened the door let him in and showed him to the sink - well then sis-in-law came down stairs to see who it was and took one look of me and was in stitches laughing. Yeah it was only then it dawned on me i still had the bloomin make up on....bright barbie pink cheeks and black eyeshadow all over and around my eyes. I had to explain to the plumber as i didn't want him thinking i was a nut, he laughed thankfully but i phoned OH and he told all his workmates tooLol, mega embarassed!!!

Haha, my fish has survived loads of things that should traumatise him lol. Even now the cat regulary trys to get him out of the fish bowl and he's fine lol.
I've moved house with him like 5 times and been in the car with only about 1/5 of water in the tank so it doesn't spill, and going over loads of speed bumps (my dads fault lol)
He's a thrill seeking fish lol0 -
Igoogle must hate me! lol. I'll try and change my settings later
MGEB - When the boiler guy fixed our boiler he had to take a look at the raditor in the kitchen. Not so bad. But all my underwear was hung over it to dry! lol0 -
I think it may be time to move them to the washing up bowl the teatowels are soaked already :eek:0
