I'm so jealous of your bump barksavingmad. I'm 18+3 and don't really have a bump yet, just look like I've put a bit of weight on! How tall are you? I'm 5ft 7 and quite broad so I think baby has a lot of room inside and hasn't needed to pop out yet!
It's a bit worrying coz I would have expected to look pregnant by now. Has anyone else found this? I'm pretty sure I'm finding the heartbeat on my doppler and think I've been feeling movements but will be so glad when I have my 20 week scan next week.Mummy to Thomas born April 27th 2010 8lb 5oz0 -
Barksavingmad - I'm so jealous of your bump! I'm 15 +6 also but was overweight before so i just look a bit fatter than normal! Probably a good thing though cos I'm not telling any of my students I'm PG until week before Xmas! I've only put on 2lbs since I was 4 weeks PG. Stomach looks rounder though.
The last couple of nights I've woken up in the early hours feeling like i've got worms crawling in my belly - could I be feeling bubs already?

Gill please try not to worry :kisses3: is it your first baby? It's my third sprout so I have no tummy muscles left :rotfl:I'm 5ft 6 and generally slim. With my first two I was very tiny before and when pregnant had huge bumps, but still didn't reach the weight I am now!!! I was in my twenties then, I'm the big 40 now and yes ladies it does unfortunately affect your size :eek:DS 17 years

Wow, I never would've guessed you were 40 from that photo!!! Like the others said, it's a cute round little bump. I found that wearing tighter clothing makes bumps look more like being preggo rather than fat IMO.
Tigs, you're so sweet for coming here to offer fairy clothing! I don't think anyone's "planning" a preemie at the moment, though we were scared that PP was going to have one a few weeks back!
Som, I don't know how you maintain a bank balance being pregnant and working in Mothercare. I'd be buying stuff everyday too! Dangerous!
Beenie, hope your friend can step in & you got your DS's uniform sorted.
gym, a water birth is important to me too so I see where you're coming from. Is it not possible to phone the hospital you want to go to and see what they say? Really the MWs should be helping you, not making life difficult! At the end of the day if they can't get into that hospital, a home water birth could be a really great option!
3, glad she's gone and you're feeling more cheery! Good luck with antenatal!
And I did finish the tree last night. Still feels weird to have Christmas stuff all around...so much focus & thought is on baby (obviously) that Christmas is taking a back burner...and it's my favorite time of year! So is all a bit strange feeling.

Ahh i really want to get my tree up but i need/want to deep clean before i do that, and my cat and dog will take great pleasure in undoing it all :rotfl:They've already taken a great interest in all the stuff and it's all in boxes atm lol0

I am not going to do much today, I might get a few bits together for my bag that's all. Ds had a friend over for tea last night, as he went over to their house 2 weeks ago and i thought it easier to return the favour before the baby is born. But it must have shattered us both as we woke up at 8.25 and only because the phone rang. Thank goodness it did because he has to be at school for 8.50:eek: I have never ran around and got ready so fast before in my life. I don't know how i got him there on time as he still can't fully dress himself so i had to get us both dressed and do his lunch etc.
postie just bought my massive 200ml bio oil order from amazon. it is going to last me ages.
I just saw this offer, didn't know if it was any use to anyone.
