Just popping back into here from the Parents thread ...

Is there anyone in the Pregnancy thread that has just had an early or small baby, or who knows their baby is going to be born early or very small?

I have some <5lb clothing (boys/unisex) and some micro nappies that Andrew has now grown out of, which might be useful to someone. PM me if appropriate.

Dong:j dong:j The witch is (nearly) gone!!! YIPPEE
After all of her crap to my mum that she was here for moral support they finalized most of the finances today and then she announced that she had to return home urgently, except that dad heard her arranging her flight last week.lol I thought he was kidding when he was saying it but apparently not.

Finally got an antenatal class today only downside is it's at the hospital which means getting the kids to school early then heading straight into the bad traffic to make it on time.

    Evening all :D

Beenie - bless your dog and cat they sound cute hehe! Grr at your Mum tho, shame you can't upgrade her like a mobile phone! Hope you get something sorted with regards to childcare and pet care while in labour. Am already worried about our furr ball if I have a long labour, so god nows you must be in a state, huggles xxx

Always - did think you were a bit crazy moving so close to your EDD but you'll get there, hope all that work is done in good time and with as lilttle stress as possible. Happy, easy and timely labour vibes for you x

32b - bet you'll breath a sigh of relief when she is gone! Can't believe how in considerate some folks are, you must have the patience of a saint atm.

Gymfiend - I had a member of staff once who kept going on about loving the smell of her neighbours kresote fence while PG, she even admitted to giving in and licking it one night!!!!

Sorry if I missed anyone, memory is a lil rubbish tonight! Well I must stop buying things at work, just too many sale bargains atm, three nights in a row have bought something!!! Came home with cute 3/4 length pjs tonight, there dead comfy tho and have the lil drop down clip so you can use them for nursing too :D Think I need to get OH to take bank card off me so I cant be tempted as I know there are more lines going in the sale in the coming days!

hehe would love to upgrade her!

I didn't ring the mw today re. homebirth, still not sure what to do really. But after having an argument with my friend about her disappearance throughout my pregnancy she insisted on coming over to see me tonight to clear the air, and she helped me re-assemble my bed and move the furniture back into my room. She also brought lots of lovely baby clothes that her friend passed onto me and they are really gorgeous i'm so pleased!
She said it is possible she could babysit while my sister comes to hospital with me too, work permitting, so hopefully i'll go into labour when she's not at work lol... So still no set plans or anything but it could possibly work out ok

  • :rotfl:Why is it that I wake anytime from 2am?!! Its so exhausting, I could understand when I was being sick, but my meds have stopped the sickness at night, but I usually get easily woken by dreams, weather, well even breathing wakes me!!! I just long to have a few nights of sleep!
I've developed a real urge to sniff turps & gloss paint  I also have a cleanser which smells really good and OH caught me in the bathroom breathing it in earlier Weird, it's like an uncontrollable urge I just can't help myself!

That really made me laugh!!! In my last two pregnancies I longed to eat soil - I know how awful is that?!!! But I used to literally stand in the garage or shed just sniffing that smell you get. I was told it was my body telling me I was lacking in something - cat poo from the soil maybe :rotfl:This time no weird urges - well apart from down the toilet (sorry!).

Well tomorrow is the day the consultant told me that my Hyperemesis would have disappeared - amazingly, it hasn't just yet, but we've got a few more hours to go lol! :p Seeing him again next Wednesday, will be interesting what date he tells me I'll be better then.

My tummy is definately getting bigger, before it felt just podgy, sort of fat like and no real solidness IYKWIM!! But its definately filling out, but I really wish people would stop telling me how big or fat I look for crying out loud, how on earth am I meant to answer?!! This is a photo of me last week, I know in comparison to lots of you girls my tummy is big but please lie and tell me what a neat bump I have :A
