It may help you to relax which will help the pain chick You need to find the most comfortable position you can I dont think there is much you can do other than that. If its quite painfull are you sure about sending your hubby to work. I spent most of my first labour in the bath as it was the only way i could get comfortable that or walking about which after no sleep wasnt very nice.

I dont know when to start timing them?

Would you say the contraction starts as soon as belly tightens and then finishes when it stops tightening, or would you say its when you feel the surge of pain from the back and uterus start till the pain stops?

I just somehow managed to falll asleep for hald an hour on sofa (ive been awake since 11.30 last night) so I might see if I can sleep a little?

oooh Kindof hope this is the start of it for you!

Feeling a bit crappy and tired this morning so going in for 10 to give me time to get my head together. So glad I had one of my part time staff in at 9 so that I can :)

Hopefully when I get home tonight there'll be an Elliot well on the way (or here if you're anything like EA!!)

Labour vibes for Som and Gymfiend as well

Just had my post eaten :(

Kindof really hope this is it for you :D

Som Happy Birthday! Hope you get your little girl as your gift :)

Agutka sorry OH didn't get you anything :( Men are useless - mine always forgets, and only buys me exactly what I ask for - he doesn't 'do' surprises!

Bunny don't worry about not showing, I wasn't obviously pregnant til maybe 26/28 weeks? Didn't have a bump at all for the 20 week scan!

Wow EA was home by last night? Sounds like she had the perfect labour & delivery :D Woohoo!

Thanks for shoe comments - I totally forgot to bid though, doh!

1more the hospital I'm going to is the main one in Leeds, so dunno where else they might send me for induction?! I'm gonna wait it out and ask MW next week, not like I can do anything about it anyway if it's standard practice, eurgh.

So tired this morning - OH left quietly yet I was still up just after he'd left, sooooo wish I could sleep in. Woken up with a massive scab on my leg too - fell over yesterday when walking to the park with my little sis & OH, managed to rip a hole in my jeans and put a big hole in my knee too, didn't look so bad last night but looks gross this morning :( I'm blaming the lack of balance on the extra couple of stone strapped to my front!!
    Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j
