EA - Pleased you heard the heartbeat was fine. Taking a bath sounds like a good idea, hopefully should help you relax a bit too.
;) Working hard in the hopes of being 'lucky' ;)

It sounds yummy! I might make and try some one day. Sounds like it will taste good with carrot sticks. Or doritos.. :p

DP - does your recipe not say anthing about letting it stand for a while, I know my friend usually makes it a a good few hours before its needed cos it tastes much better then according to her. But yeay for someone else who likes it :D

I think it tastes good either way (i.e. if you are desperate to eat it!) but yes I do usually make it in advance and put it in the fridge, and we eat it with pork kebabs x

    Hi All

Been out for a wander with DH today and the got really REALLY bored this afternoon. Ended up sitting on the recliner chair in babys room for 45 minutes just lolling, and vaguely thinking about what other bits and pieces we need.

DH has given me money to get my haircut for my birthday, so might try and go out and get that done tomorrow...

That and I'm now torn between baby names LOL Heard one yesterday that I really love and I think it falls off my tongue better..... some days it doesnt feel natural to me to say Leon, like Im overpronouncing or something....
    ARGH!

  • Yay for McDonalds Maurneen, my mam went to Costco today :) me and my brother are going to go halves on a card soon, I am just trying to figure out if its worthwhile

The fridge/freezer we currenty have hass 2 and a 1/2 shelves, so now much room at all, we were then given a chest freezer as well, so we are trying to figure out if its financially wise to [plug this chest freezer in as well and stock up on meat from costco? as you do save a killing (I would be getting sausages, chicken breasts, mince and maybe more) cos my mam gets all that and portions it off into freezer bags when she gets home

OR do we wait a few month until we have a american stye fridge freezer? as our fridge is on its way out and we plan on buying one of the americna style ones, which has about twice the size of freezer space in it than we currently have

I dont have any experince with Hauck but I originall wanted a Hauk one

Thanks kindof! I love costco, get chicken regularly. The ham we got from there for Christmas was amazing!!! Love the sound of the american style fridge/freezer but i totally think if you have the room, fill the chest freezer! I was looking at chicken in asda today and the prices just dont compare to what you get in costco.
No worries re Hauck, at full price it was dead on budget but got it half price on kiddicare so hoping it'll be fine, certainly sturdier than anything i had for my other two!

    Am back :)

Baby heartbeat is fine, on my notes she's put minimal fetal movement felt. And has said i have to have a bath then moniter babys movements for 2 hours. If less than 8 movements i have to go utpto the main hospital to be put on a trace.

My blood pressure was up a bit to, prob cause i was panicing.

Im glad i heard her hb though, it was quite fast. 148-155bpm :)

Glad everything's ok EA, take care!

    Sending out more labour vibes!!
