Well hello Som :) snap on the not sleeping lol I knew I would find you here.

Now maybe I am over thinking things, butI have been waking up every half an hour last night, and I didnt need the toilet, so then I got to thinking could I maybe be having regular pains every half an hour that are enough to wake me up?

So then I htought if that is the case are they strong enough to feel when I am already awake?

I am heading back to catch up

Sorry...I'm still here! & jealous of all your aches & pains - nothing happening at all here! Almost totally convinced he'll be a good bit late, though I was always convinced he'd be late anyway, doh.

Went out earlier & was chatting to a random guy who asked how long I had left - he seemed shocked that I still left the house with so few days to go, dunno what he expected, heavily preg people to just stay indoors?! lol

Hope everyone is ok? Lots of labour vibes as appropriate :D

Haven't got time to read back - tried earlier but the comp ate my post, will catch up properly tomorrow :) x

I know its funny isnt it, like we should stick in the house just in case, although I would die if my waters broke when I was out in public lol

Lots of labour vibes to you

EA - So the poop is ok? he is pooping somewhere else? as long as the other cat stops pooping down the alley then your landlord is ok?

To be honest is he even sure its a cat pooing in the alley cos cats tend to poo on grass cos they are proud animlas and they like to cover up their poo generally

I dont think his behaviour is anything to wprry about, cats can sense things are about to change and like a child (cos I hitnk they are like childnre sometimes lol) they will act out, it wouldnt suprise me if Jools is "protecting" you if he thinks OH is getting you (you know if he messes on?)

CAFC the last 4 weeks or so I cant sleep in bedon my left side, its weird, I can sleep on the sofa or lay oin the sofe on my left side but not in bed, I end up turning to my right side and sleeping

Asda do a lovely Chick Pea Dahl :)

On Prams I choose the Graco travel system and my reasons were that you cant get a car seat for baby to use from birth all the way to the end (age 12 I think it is?) and therefore we didnt want to buy a pram and a seperate car seat to then have to change the car seat once baby reaches 9kg

So we got a travel system so we can have baby laying flat in it like a pram, then sitting up like a toddler, and then use the car seat as basuically that just a car seat

Then once baby is too big for the first car seat we want to spend decent money on a really good iso fix one from 9kg to the end if poss :)

  • Smartie – hope you feel better soon. I do feel for you as I have suffered with hyperemesis all through this pregnancy, but under control with drugs now.
Guinea - When I was overdue with my two, they didn’t touch me until a planned induction on the 14th day overdue, but I started on the 13th night with both! Fingers crossed you start on your own before the end of the two weeks. Keep you chin up x
    Som congrats on the engagement!
Conventgirl – hope your sickness goes soon – and glad your 25wk apt went well.
EA – Aren’t dreams so weird. I’ve stopped watching the baby birthing channel as I was having horrendous ‘prem baby’ dreams, so watching must have put my mind and imagination into overdrive. Hope your throat gets better soon x
I thought OBEM was brilliant this week – quite touching and a good watch. Can’t wait for next week now!
I had my 28 week m/w apt yesterday, and my ever growing bump is still very large for dates. I’m booked in for another scan at 31 weeks to check on size of sprout and fluid etc. BP still incredibly low unfortunately. First antenatal class last night which was interesting, wasn’t going to go to them as I’m on No. 3, but because of my 10 year gap thought it would be a good refresher. And it’s good to get out too!
This tax credits stuff confuses the life out of me. And I haven’t heard from either of my employers yet as to what I will or won’t be covered for and I wrote to them all at 24 weeks – I’m 29 weeks tomorrow. Not sure how long to leave it before I chase them? Would be good to know what I’ve got to live on loL!
Yummymummy – Please don’t worry, I’ve also had Braxtons since the early days, and this being my third they are much much stronger than the last two. Midwife said yesterday it’s perfectly normal, and you’re body just remembers what to do sooner and also said they do tend to be stronger after your first one. Any worries though give your m/w a call as they are there for you and to put you at ease x
Labour vibes to all that need it and some sleep today for those that seemed to have a rough night!

I thought exactly that! Also cats dont poop near their own homes and also it was very mushy, like cats who eat wet food and he only has dry food. Sorry if i made you feel sick lol.
And also Jools was very afraid of that ally, which is good as it leads out onto a main road when the gate is open :)

We haven't heard from the landlord about it, he doesn't speak to us lol.

Merrh, im so tired and have so many pains. I woke up at about 8am with more lower back and bump pains and couldn't get back to sleep. And my throat still really hurts and now my stitches on my boob hurt to. Seeing the nurse tomorrow to get them taken out though :j

The pains in my back and bump have gone right down again. Im sure they'll start up as soon as i move though.

I note your still online Kindof, still having pains?

    Morning,

Happy due date Som! Hope you're busy in labour :D

EA - our bigger cat has gone for OH a couple of times during my preg, she used to go for me from time to time but hasn't once since being preg - think it's something protective in them? I wouldn't worry too much, just keep an eye on him around baby. I'm planning to leave ours to carry on as usual, sniff around him, sit with him etc if they want to, so they don't feel pushed out? They're indoor cats too which makes things more complicated! Think I'd take Jools for the chop too - maybe it's hormones?

BSM I'd be chasing my employers if I were in your shoes :) & yay for extra scans, even if they are for medical reasons!

Yummymummy, our Mothercare has the Loola, so does Boots - have you tried both of them?

Glad all was well @ the MW Convent :D I really like the M&P Skate - we considered it when buying the Joolz, it's very nice :)

Kindof ignore the pet thread people, I'm quite sure that the cat wasn't psychologically damaged by being told to poo outside!!!! Have you got a maternity tankini? I tried mine on the other day and I looked like that chav from Little Britain my belly's so big :rotfl:

OBEM - I loved Joy & Fabio, they were so sweet! OH & I were close to tears when she was born :o

Lots of labour vibes for all who'd like them, come on babies!

Nothing happening here - no pains, twinges, nothing! Texts asking if he's here yet are starting to pee me off today, started to ignore them so they can wonder a bit longer :p Off out shopping with a friend this aft and have made loads of plans for next wk too, bit weird to think he's due Monday  Having a bit of a problem with names at the moment, I'm just not 100% sold on Guy anymore, I do like it, but I want to love it? And I'm worried he won't look like his name...OH was not impressed :o

No, they have stopped for now, they did continue every half an hour when I got up really early, but then I fell asleep on sofa and woke up at 7 and theyve stopped, I might have a bounce on my ball

    I am so tired though

Gym - LOL no I havet so I look kinda chavish as well lol, I am currently looking through my vest tops top to see which ones arent too big (so they float round me lol) but not too small either lol its weird isnt it knowing our due date is monday, its lik eek!

I really like Guy :) does it go with the surname?

My mam rang before, she said April who she works with dreamt last night that mam didnt make it to work today cos I was in labour, I was like WHY CANT THESE PEOPLE BE RIGHT LOL, my friends boyfriend for some reason thinks beany will be born friday?

I am just getting really tired now.

Ohhh Happy Due Date SOM :)

I had my first ever 'is the baby here' on my fb lol.
I went to bed at 11:30pm with my status about having pains, but i didn't wake up until 12:20pm, and i had a message from this girl, saying "Oooo you haven't typed one thing today! let us all know how you and lilly are doing once she's out and your home and comftable xx"

Assumptions! lol. I replied saying "I've only just woke up thats why i haven't been on..' :rotfl::rotfl:

My mum has been texting everyday to asking if i have had anymore pains/signs. But she doesn't count :p

Happy due date som! I remembered it was yours today this morning when OH said "4th March" when i told him i had pains. I think he is comparing birth dates lol.

Yesterday was my first ever EDD, from when i worked it out from the first day of my last period, tomorrow is my 4th EDD i was given from my 4D scan :D :rotfl:

eta: I found my baby book yesterday, i was 8lbs 7oz when born, and 57cm. And was 8 days late.
OH was 8lbs 3 ozs, so im thinking baby might be an 8lb'r

I like Guy, it fits well with the other names...but just wonder if it's a bit nondescript? I quite like Rex and Franklin, or possibly Charles, getting a bit worried now that he'll be nameless :rotfl:

My mum dreamt that my grandma (died 10 years ago) said baby was born on the 9th, so she's holding out for that date! Dad's convinced it'll be the 19th, OH thinks the 12th, and I've no idea :) Would quite like the 21st for my parents wedding anniversary!

EA you were tall too :D I was 8lb 11oz and 60cm, dunno what OH was, something like 5lb but he's a twin so no comparison. Convinced our boy is a whopper, might call him Brutus :D

Yeah, apparently i was a long thin baby lol.

I think i might scan some of my old baby pics later, have something to compare baby to :D

Im convinced this baby is going to be big, she feels big when i feel around my bump, and when she kicks. Ouch. haha

Just put the massive throw we have on the sofa in the washing machine. Its huge! I had to squeeze it all in lol. Thiink i may be nesting a tiny bit, it comes and goes in small bursts :D
