Well i have just had packet rice, potatoes and peas for tea as have felt really sick today and thought i could do with a few carbs in my system. Really struggled to eat it but managed in the end.
Kindof/Som...the pushchairs i have been looking at are the silver cross 3d and mamas and papas skate and the pilko pramette. OH really doesnt mind what i have though he did like the skate yesterday. We really need something lightish as my folx will probably struggle with something heavy and also just incase i need to use it on my own (being on crutches does limit you). Also i need the car seat to be lightweight as i will be moving that about on my own. Any ideas or suggestions would be great
Som...pleased you baby is engaged now...great news
I hope SS is ok too
xxBeautiful baby boy arrived 20th June 2010...Harry..weighing 7lb 4oz on fathers day :j0 -
Stupid pet thread lol
Som my MW said for the pool you need something tight so it doesnt have air bubbles whereas if you give birth on dry land (lol) you need something baggy to try and cool you down?
I have a tankini top in my bag, but now I am justhinking I might just wear a bra to be honest?
I think Beany has moved further engaged as I now have a saggy part of belly where I am pretty sure his head used to be, I was like oh no saggy belly lol but if it means he is moving furhter in thats fine lol
EA whats your cat question someone here might be able to help

Sorry...I'm still here! & jealous of all your aches & pains - nothing happening at all here! Almost totally convinced he'll be a good bit late, though I was always convinced he'd be late anyway, doh.
Went out earlier & was chatting to a random guy who asked how long I had left - he seemed shocked that I still left the house with so few days to go, dunno what he expected, heavily preg people to just stay indoors?! lol
Hope everyone is ok? Lots of labour vibes as appropriate
Haven't got time to read back - tried earlier but the comp ate my post, will catch up properly tomorrowx
Baby Boy arrived March 25th 2010 - 17 days late & 8lb 10oz :j0 -
We had OH son round for tea, so we had roast chick pieces, veg and gravy. He hates stew and salad, so they are out of the question when he comes.
Conventgirl, those prams sound really nice. I quite like the look of the OBaby Zezu, it converts from a pram to a forward or rearward facing pushchair. Only thing that's bothering me is that it has inflatable tyres, which I imagine could be a bit of a !!!!!! if you got a puncture (could carry a repair kit in nappy bag I guess)
HUGE VIBES TO ALL YOU LOVELY LADIES!!!!!!! Especially if you're overdue
It would be just too funny if you all went on the same day though wouldn't it?

Ok, well its a bit of a weird one really lol.
We used to have a cat poop all the time down our allyway, and i always insisted it wasn't our cat. But the landlords who use our allyway to get into the chemist (grr!) kept moaning and saying it was as there are no other cats in the area (?!?!?!)
They then complained to the letting agent who sent a letter saying if we dont stop the cat pooing then we have to get rid of him (as if i can stop a cat pooing...)
Then that same day, the cat poo stopped down the ally. Therefore my proof that it wasn't Jools, it must of been some other cat.
But since then, Jools is contantly meowing, like all the time. He has enough food and fresh water, enough attention and access to outdoors to come and go as he pleases.
And now he has started attacking OH for no reason. He will come in and snuggle up. Then after 10 mins of buttering us up he will get up and get into a hunting position, start meowing/growling at OH with his ears pulled back and then pounce and attack him. OH has to physically hold him down to and say NO, to stop him. Otherwise he keeps coming back to attack him.
When OH holds him down he gets scared and runs off, therefore stopping the attack.
(thats the bad owner bit lol)
He is 1 this month.
Now to actually relate this to this thread.. The baby is due Sunday and we're scared he will do something to her.
Jools wont attack me for some reason though.
Any ideas?
eta: The attack is actual bites and scratches. Not his usual playful nibbles.0 -

EA - maybe its a jelousy thing, of maybe jools is getting something off your hormones and feels protective of you. I know H is a dog but this is how he behaves sometimes.
bexta - thanks for the vibesCant say have ever had chick peas, what are they like?
Gym - dont be jelous it doesnt mean an awful lot you could still kick off before us! I know its funny people think your odd, bloke said to me today while i was out when are you due, he went a lil white when I said tomorrow lol!
kindof - thanks will pack a tankini top too
convent girl - personaly I'd stay away from the 3d we so many back for repair its silly, oh and there heavy. We dont sell Mammas and pappas tho so cant rate them! Can I suggest you look at the Loola or Loola up too, there along similar lines and you can get the maxicosi to fit if you dont mind buying adapters and its a fab car seat. The Pushchair is really flexible and easy to use too and ther seem to be some good deals about for them.
EA - I love phish foodStill no sign or the T shirt here!
Well cramps all calmed down now so no idea whats going on!Baby :female: Tahlie Lois born 15/3/10 7lb 12 oz :heartpulsWorking on baby no2

EA has he reached adolescence, and so sexual maturity, hence attacking OH. Does he attack you?
He got my hand by mistake yesterday as i was next to OH, but he wont touch me. He comes over to lay with me, but gets up aftera few seconds to go and lay with OH to then attack him.
When i was first pregnant he was freaked out by me, then in the middle he absolutley loved me. And now he doesn't go near me really. He wont do the constant meowing to me either. Its only OH he does it to.
We are yet to take him to get 'done'. I think its something we cant put off now, especially if the baby is someone he doesn't take a shine to.
Som- Booo for lack of tshirt! I knows its from the USA but this is silly lol. My pains have started up again, but only really small ones now *sigh* hehe0 -
our puppy went through a stage of that...
He would chomp down on the bottom of my trousers, growl and yank them about, but never did it to DH. He would sit on DH for ages but was a bit bleurgh with me....
Last time we saw him however he couldnt give a rats about DH and just wanted to hang out with me the whole time, we fell asleep together on the sofa, he had his head in my shoulder and was snoring in my ear..... that and he spent ages sniffing my belly, and licked it LOLWealth is not measured by currency0
