Charliedavis - :j for a good nights sleep!!

Oh no about the cupboard Kindof. Hope you still manage to enjoy your day off.

Well a semi eventful nite for me!! I slept well until about 4am and then I woke with a bad period type achey pain on the right hand side of my pelvis. I really thought something was starting to happen so after the first couple of times I started timing them on my phone. Dont think it can have been contractions as the pains lasted 2 to 3 mins a time (I thought contractions only lasted a min or a min and a half??) but there were gaps of 10 mins between them and they did seem to come in waves. Anyhoo, they cant of been that bad, or they wore off as I fell back asleep and no more so far, although I have got a dull ache in that same spot  Hope it was the start of things!!

My best friend has just told me that the chap from her works wife also had her baby over the weekend, she was due tomorrow, I want mine now, lol!!

Sorry for such a me related post!!

    xx

The BHs over the weekend were lasting 2 mins, and like you I thought contractions only lasted a minute or so. It's so frustrating isn't it when things look like happening and they don't isn't it  Hope things happen for you very very soon!

Found out today that 3 members out of 4 of my NCT group have had their babies, happy for them but like you fattybooboo I want my baby now!

I was 11½ stone last night, and only 11 stone 4 last week, where has all that extra weight been put on that quickly aargh lol...

  • OMG one more week and I'm in my third trimester! Scary but exciting!

That seems ok EA, so long as it's in good condition.

Mermaid that does sound a bit weird. Do you normally get on ok with her? Is she quite old?

SJ - have only met her a few times, OH doesn't spend much time with family anyway and we've only been together a year. Am just v unsure why she's done it, she's only known I'm PG for a week so I don't know if it's coz she's unhappy about that? She's 50 and thinks she's too young to be a grandparent. I know she thinks he's too young and won't cope with it, he's 2 years younger than me but I've told her I know he will be fine!

What's really upset me is that she blatantly accused OH of lying and said "at least you know what he's like now" and I said to her the one thing I really can't cope with is lies and he knows that too!! So why carry on with more lies following that? Even claiming she had seen a pic of this girl, when he never even had one and only way she knew she existed was if she had gone through OH's phone as he never mentioned her.

I'd jot down all the ideas you've got then make some sort of sense out of them once you've got it all down. Try to put it in some sort of time order? Or maybe by what's most important to you. I never did one with DD I just made sure her dad knew what I wanted lol and left it to him to pass on if needed

Yeh it is v frustrating as its kinda scary/getting my hopes up but then totally stops!! Trouble is I am not sure what to look for, I expect when we get real contractions we will be like 'omg those previous ones were nothing like it', but until we get the real ones we wont know!! Lol!! Come on babies, we wanna meet u!!

GISI - Yes I know what u mean, it would be cool to have an 11/11 baby, the chances of me having mine on my due date is slim though I guess!! How is it being at the top of the list :T

EA, re birth plans, I have just put a few bullet points on a post it note and put it in my maternity notes, only had a few points really like no epidural or pethadine unless necessary and to leave the cord pulsing as long as poss. HTH!!

    Hope PP is ok xx
