Afternoon all, just been reading back.

What's consumer pulse? Is it another survey thingie? I've not been able to keep up with my Yougovs and stuff, alas.

Clothes - Andrew's is happily ensconced in (Asda) Tiny Baby size at 6-6.6lb, and I've got loads of 7.5lb stuff for him to move up into before hitting the newborn 9lb. So I won't take up your kind offer, Elle (unless there's anything really really cute!)

    AM - great news!

We're just back from Asda Opticians - two pairs of specs for me (extra thin), two pairs for Marley, total under £100 thanks to their offer and the NHS voucher scheme. I paid over £250 for one pair about five years ago!
    :money:

consumer pulse is part of TNS, you tell them when you buy clothes, music, films, beauty treatments/products or mobile phone things/bills and get point for it. I've redeemed my points so far on £50 amazon vouchers, £10 next voucher and £10 american golf voucher - I only joined in April :D

if you don't mind did you pay £250 on glasses because it was you being un-mse or because your a bit blind? the most I've ever spent is £170 on 2 pairs once coatings etc were added on

A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

A "bit blind" is a good description - I'm around -9 in both eyes. My specs look like the bottom of glass coke bottles if I don't have them super-thinned, and that used to cost (in the pre-Asda days). I always used to choose the cheapest frames as the lenses were so dear!
