Meant to tell you all. Christopher was very upset after his jag and we have to wait in the waiting room for 5mins after, so he is sitting cuddled into me and I'm making 'awwww ahhhh there there' noises while he is sitting holding his arm making 'oooowwwwww owch awch' noises. I look down and tell him he is exaggerating, he says 'NOOO!!!! OWCH!!!!' so I point out that he got tha jag in his other arm.
    absoloutely hilarious! love it

I'm still loitering but off to bed shortly..

Just been having a big conversation with OH about money. We need to get everything straight and in order (I currently have FOUR current accounts in my name!) ASAP after Christmas so that we know what's what for when my SMP stops in February

Done a bit more Christmas shopping, and have a list as long as my arm of things to get tomorrow :o

I'll be sleeping in three hour blocks tonight - no milk in the freezer so need to express during the night too to ensure babba remains fed all day tomorrow! Oh the joys..

    Night night xx

Just popping in to say a quick hello. Hurt my best hand on Halloween (non related) so everything has been taking twice as long as my other hand is merely there for decoration. Just about fixed now and it's all about Christmas. I've got all the girls presents, most of the food and all of the decorations.

The girls are all great. 16yo is enjoying her job and now volunteers 5 hours a week at a pre-school, which she loves since she started 3 weeks ago, but I still have her all to myself on Wednesdays and a few other times when she's not working!

How is everyone? Have I missed any big news? New arrivals? New pregnancies? New men?

I'm going on my first date for many many years on Sunday  One of my girl friends said she had a work friend who had met me before briefly and had been asking about me a bit (it was a very brief meeting, a few seconds in friends house about 6 months ago when collecting girls!). She was there on that day with friend looking after girls whilst I worked in Easter holidays as had a big load to do one day and the girls like her. 6 of them approve of her, 15yo said she was nice, but I don't need a girlfriend apparently, and she's grumpy about it.

I am scared like I never have been before. She is unlike any of the partners i've ever had (she's not my partner yet, I just didn't know a way of describing it) . I've always had very talkative, opinionated and aggressive in some way, partners. This young lady is apparently very quiet, shy and unsure of herself having been in a physically and emotionally abusive relationship, although I understand she has always been very timid and lacking confidence. She dresses well, seems well educated etc etc.

My friend says she thinks I won't like her and she thinks i'm out of her league, which is hideous as she's very pretty and more attractive physically than my previous partners and whilst I don't think i'm the worst looking man in the world, I don't think i'm overly fantastic either  Unfortunately my friend bigs me up and I hope she hasn't overdone it, as I don't want to be a disappointment!

We are going to a local restaurant for a Sunday Lunch whilst friend stays with the girls, and of course I am paying!

So, pretty young lady, shy, lacking self confidence, good appearance and young-middle aged chap, lost all confidence with ladies, has 7 daughters of which 6 seem not too bad about me going on a date, 1 is against it. Young lady has no kids

Help! I wish I could type the words to describe my nerves! :o Any advice from ladies, or even men with how they would go....please :o

I hope you are all well. How is Christmas shaping up? Anyone not doing Christmas? Anyone completely ready? Anyone not even started?

    :)

Good luck with the date motm - hope it goes well.

Just popping on to say a quick Hi as I should really be in bed now but just wasn't tired. Bit like my Archie earlier who was fed too much sugar by my mum who had popped in and let me out for an hr to go and watch "the nativity" (all alone as DS1 refused to come).

Archie is talking really well now which seems strange as his brother was still monosyllabic at his age but I'm noticing daily changes in his comprehension now.

Kitten has settled in nicely now - will do some pics when I finally manage to actually take some - just need to recharge batteries first lol.

Haven't read back as there are 150 pages more since I last came on but hope everyone is ok and babies are sleeping well.

    Morning Weezl :)

Hi MOTM, it's lovely to see you round these parts! I'm sure just being your charming self would be very good for this lady... You're a lovely fella and it sounds like she deserves one :) and 15yo is just hormonal ;)

Elle, hope you get a good output tonight, you're doing fantastically :)

I'm just feeding caitlyn, amazingly she didn't wake for it... No Aimee woke me (if it's not one it's the other!) she's just had her first toilet dream and woken up wet from neck to ankles LOL...

Tsstss, it is great watching them develops isn't it :D

I got some sleep... Not sure it was decent lol... Caitlyn slept right through though with that dream feed at 3:30! First time in weeks... I think it might have been because I closed the door and left the oil filled radiator on... It's probably warmer than recommended in here, but she seems to like to be warm...

Anyway, must go and get aimee ready for school, back in 90mins or so...

  • Morning all

Very busy here with all things Christmassy! Poppy keeps repeating 'Ho ho ho, hello Poppy!' from the CD Nanna bought. Its sooo very cute! :D

Jamie has finally gone into his own room and I'm very sad :( (but happy to have use of my bedside light again! :rotfl:).

Sorted a ridiculous amount of toys for charity and a few unopened ones for this appeal. It makes me so sad just thinking about it .

Hope everyone is fine and dandy this morning!

    xx
