  • The KFI that gets sent does that mean there is a mortgage there ready for us when we need it or do we still need sent a mortgage offer? You don't happen to work for NW do you?

    No sorry Hx
The KFI is a key facts illustration, so it is not a full offer and details can still be amended or withdrawn unless it has been formally accepted by both of you (ie. you have signed the forms)
When it has been fully offered, they will send you another KFI (all this saving trees lakr is really paying off ) and a further 2 or 3 page document that will be titled your mortgage offer. Normally takes about 3 weeks from receipt of the first KFI.
However, if they have sent you a list of requirements with it, then thses must be given to the bank before an offer will be issued, if they have not requested anything else, they are not that busy at the minute, so an offercould realisticly be with you in about 7 - 10 days :)
