.. Elle did OH's shopping include yummy rice cakes?
Yup, Berry-something and Apple typesGoing to try them when stroppy pants is in a better mood later..
I'm having a bit of a silent strop.. feel free to ignoreAs much as I love spending all my time with Rhys, playing or just cuddling along with the feeding/expressing and changing stuff, I'd really like to have more time to get more jobs done! OH made a comment last night about the bowls we were eating out of were the "last ones in the cupboard" (it was pasta so wasn't like we were eating out of a bowl when it should have been a plate though!). I'm trying now to get the washing up done - at one point Rhys was crying so I wanted to comfort him and now he's babbling to himself and I want to go join in and play too, but I've still got loads of washing up to do, plus other stuff once that's done
Am having one of my "fed up with expressing" days too.. just fed up of living my life to a three hourly schedule!
Onwards and upwards.. back towards the sink and away from cute bubba :cool:0 -
We have massive stockings! My Mam made Joshua one for his first Christmas, and then made James and Charlotte one for their first Christmases.
They leave them under the tree and all their presents go in the stockings. Here I go again on my own....0 -
oh yer of course sami there in there too
..
awww elle i feel like that when jayden wants to play and i need to do stuff .. plus whats stopping your OH from washing pots?? his hands broken?? xStill searching .....:)

To be fair, he is at work right now (7th early start.. only 5 more to do!), and as soon as he gets in from work and has had a shower, he takes Rhys off me every night both to spend time with Rhys and to give me a rest. Can't fault him for what he does and it's my own fault for not sorting it all in the evenings, I just sometimes wish I could get it done in the daytime but Rhys won't nap for long.
Think I might ask Mum to babysit one whole day a week, every week.. She's already agreed (she came up with the idea in fact) but we never got round to starting it.. Then at least I can blitz once a week to get the big stuff done :cool:0 -
Awww Elle :grouphug: At least mine is a 4hr schedule, plus I have Marley around to pick up the slack! Actually (bad mum moment
) a fair amount of time I leave Andrew to his care, and just get on with the house and stuff - I trust Marley to look after Andrew but not to clean the bathroom competently :rotfl:

aww Elle it does get better, I tell OH to put up and shut up for the first 6mths
I found with Chris that once he was eating a decent amount, feeding less, sleeping consistently and entertaining himself it all started to fall into place and I managed to hoover more than once a week again!
i think it's best to work this as Rhys's 6mth corrected time though as he's only got a tidderly tum still xx
be careful with the rice cakes, they're scrummy so make sure you leave him some0 -
aw elle - I feel like this as well, I feel like once I've finished a bottle, winded him, played with him and then got him to sleep for a nap it's time for the next bottle  and then OH moans that the house is a tip but he gets two fingers!
The last few days he's been more than happy to sit in his bouncy chair as long as he can see or hear me - does mean carrying him and bouncer upstairs sometimes but is meaning I'm getting more done. He's currently sitting in his chair next to Daddy's chair watching the Merseyside Derby and playing with his toys!
Can u believe BIL came home with an entire teams stinking rugby kit and wanted to use my machine to wash it????
OH refused and said I don't want !!!!!! like that in my machine when we wash Jack's clothes so IL's have taken him to a Launderette!
Going to put the oven on to cook roast dinner now otherwise they'll all be moaning they are starving! Can't wait to be able to post properly again!A very busy Yummy Mummy to a 1 year old gorgeous boy :smileyhea
