Our girls name list was immense...

That was it... We didn't even bother looking at other names lol..A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...My Fathers Daughter wrote: »Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Beenie - have you thought of Alice? All the best people are called Alice
What were your grannies and great grannies called? Do you want a long name that can be shortened or a short name that can't?

There are lots of caitlyns/kaitlyns at the moment (not saying this in a nasty way or anything) -i've got several friends who's daughter's have this name although spelt differently! So i think this name would be out if we had a girl!
keely.
ps-i will make an effort to leave the laptop in a minute lol....i managed to get off facebook thats a start!Mommy to Elliot (5) and Lewis (born xmas eve 11!)0 -
NMS - Sorry you have been ignored, sometimes it can happen if posts are general, rather than asking a direct question iykwim...I am sorry if I have ignored you too often..although lately I seem to be ignoring everyone and just coming on moaning about myself and my own crappy situation:o
SS - I really hope dh is ok when he comes home and listens to you now...You know best:p
I am so pleased with Kai's progress with eating now, after his spell of refusing food!
For lunch he has just had
Cheese sandwich (1 x bread folded, crusts removed, grated cheese)
Organix crunchy carrot stick crisp thing (half a pack)
Cheddars crackers x2
whole banana
and a whole cup of water
He is loving it all especially the butty and banana:D I have dropped his lunch-time mik so he is clearly making it up in food He has also learnt to go from sitting-crawling-sitting now very adeptly, without toppling:T
Right quick update on crappy situation, I think we may have a bit of light at the end of the tunnel.....we may be able to get the childcare money from dh application from the LEA (they told us we couldn't last time but we phoned again yest and they said yes) So that means I can then get a further £500 loan from my uni which we can use for bills and xmas instead of having to use it to pay the childcare..also I am going to ask if the nursery will drop Kai's hours to one day instead of three as of next week...that way it will be less to pay out when the childcare money does actually get paid to us. On top af that we can pay off the kids breakfast club fees and cancel their places there.....
If this all goes to plan I will be very happy. From January I 'should' be able to get contribution based JSA, which will change to IS from 29ks pg and this will end just around the time baby is due at which point ChB and ChTC will go up and we should be able to survive with me staying at home....as I will be able to go back to sctatch cooking and budgetting/shopping around for deals etc.....
Wow that ended up a mahooosive post sorry:o

I think NMS made some very valid points, I hardly post anymore for exactly the same reasons.
I did post the other day because a couple of people had asked about Eloise's weight/referral so I thought I would update, one response was someone who didn't know/had forgotten about the problems we had had (so I feel even more out of it) and the other felt like a bit of a ticking off for offering to contact Feely as she is still on my facebook and you had all been asking about her. That was it no other comments at all
Its fine, I don't have the time or inclination to post much although I do keep up with whats going on. It just got to me a bit cos i was quite pleased about it and I thought I had a few friends on here who were interested.
I also agree with what NMS said about thankyou's.MFW Start Sep 07 £79484, Now £587740 -

If your nipples are bleeding then you really need to address your positioning and his attachment... Is he getting a good mouthful of breast for each feed? Tell him it hurts Mummy if he doesn't do it right and encourage him to change his attachment to make it more comfortable... He's old enough to understand it at his age
Annecdotally, Aimee dropped her feeds really slowly over a course of months until there was no milk left at all... It felt like a really natural progression for us, and I wasn't sad when it ended...:)
Thanks Krystal.
Archie just asked for a feed so I guess he is dropping them naturally like Amy did. I'm mixed feelings about him stopping really - on the one hand I love feeding him and it gives me peace of mind considering his terrible fussiness with food. On the other he is a terrible fidget and as you say has problems attaching well and staying there so I have had lots of painful nips over the last yr!MSE PARENT CLUB MEMBER.ds1 nov 1997ds2 nov 2007:jFirst DDFirst DD born in june:beer:.0 -
I've just started reading from this morning and feel really upset about NMS. Please don't leave us. Lots of hugs to you and Liam :grouphug:
I don't post as regularly as I did and I'm not sure what has happened but just want everyone to know that I do think of you all even if I don't manage to post (or use the thank button as sometimes I'm not logged in, have read posts and then the children need me and I don't get the chance).
I know I once posted about a new tooth and it was forgotten about and the next week someone else did the same and it was a 'yay fest' from everyone but I don't mind;). I know it depends on who is on the thread at that time and what else is going on.

I'm crap with the thanks button... Half the time I forget it's there...
Millie's Mum, hope it wasn't me that upset you when I posted about the weight chartI can barely remember what I'm talking about enough to string a sentence together anymore, let alone anything else... So if I did upset you, I'm sorry.
