oh before i go i have to relay my sorry tale about costumes for xmas plays, cos i had brown hair i was never a angel in the nativitys and i was gutted, then one year they asked me to be a angel and i was really pleased, but my mum rang the school and told them i had to be a shepherd cos she didnt want to cut up one of her precious sheets to make me a outfit and me being a shepherd was easier for her
so i never got to be a angel! woe is me!!

Thats a disgrace !! Parents should not have to supply loads of stuff aswell as pay all the fees !!

Our lot go to the theatre for the pantomime every year and this year we were told tickets are £7.50 and transport costs were being covered by the parents association. Fine, no problem with that, then I got a leaflet from the theatre telling me tickets were available for £4.50 !!!!!! Why lie to us ??? Just tell us we are paying for the transport

    Hooooooaoaaaaaaaoooorrrrrr!!!!!! How dare you MM!

Don't you know that your should feel PRIVILEGED! Privileged! That you child is off to have a wonderful, fulfilling, educational and life long learning experience by the school being KIND enough, KIND! To go to the ENORMOUS trouble and effort to allow your child to go to the Pantomime! Education is free in this country and you BEGRUDGE! Begrudge! £7.50?!

*is holey offended and puffed up like a poppinjay at you being so (checks recent threads) uhm... denying or something... to do with janitors being under payed and dinner ladies beaten....

yeah, I'm no good at offended... :rotfl:
  • awwww em :) I was an angel EVERY DAMN YEAR !!!!!!!!!!!!! I would have loved to have been a shepherd for a change !!!

P7s never did a nativity though, we did a proper play, I was Nancy in Oliver and had to sing 9 songs, and in one of them I was on stage by myself !! My parents still show the video to people when they visit !!
