I do know that it depends where exactly it is, kidneys, liver etc. She is booked in to see 2 consultants on Monday, one being the top guy which is worrying her.
Too many children, too little time!!!

oh i forgot to reply to your post mac! morhulin is the nappy cream you're thinking of thats recommended by the regulars here, but i've not been able to find it anywhere here  and i got fed up with dozy pharmacy staff looking blankly at me when i asked for it so i gave up trying! i asked someone in boots to order it for me and they said they couldnt cos they needed to know what something was in the first place to order it  i have now given up and just sticking with sudocrem!
Em I just had to spell the Morhulin for the pharmacist and they typed it in their computer then it appeared in the shop the very next day :D
You can also buy it online from chemist direct et al.

At what point do BF-ing mummies not need to wear a nursning bra at night then? I hate wearing underwear on bed, so my sexy combo of BF bra, big granny pants and anti-embolism stockings is not really working for me at the moment :rotfl:. The joys of motherhood.

We had our heel pr!ck test today. Wasn't too bad, mister just had a feed straight afterwards and forgot all about it. In good news he has put on 250g since Monday and is now a hefty 4.100kg (9lb) :T. We also had a wee in his own face incident and a poo on Mummy incident today!

Hugs to poorly and teething babies.

lol at wee n poo incidents :D
I'm still having to wear bra & breast pads 24/7  I'm hoping once Ed is eating food it might get better but I shan't hold my breath

Em - I used Abidec vit drops (allergy warning: they contain peanut oil)

Hypno - if you are still about I was goning to suggest getting checked for Thrush as others have mentioned and also does he have wind? Ed does the pulling nip of dance when he has a burp/trump/poop stuck somewhere (currently often as I have a purple nip again!)

Tara, the most common cyst in foetuses is a benign ovarian cyst because the foetus is getting hammered by the mother's hormones. The cyst normally disappears by itself after birth. Is she having a girl?

  • Tara no advice here either but some big hugs from me too ((((hugs))))

Mmm...we'll see how supply goes then I guess.

I actually feel human again. I just had a blissful bath, shaved my legs then oiled up my stretchmarks (which took some doing, I can tell you). LO still asleep in his bouncer.

GISI, I wear a nursing vest to bed cos I wouldn't be able to sleep in a bra. Is the bra uncomfy to sleep in or just having anything on that's bothering you? :) On the brightside, I'm not leaking (unless feeding) anymore and haven't been for about six weeks-ish. Well, apart from the incident where I think my boob burst under the strain last week! :o

New (much cheaper!) version of a Jumperoo-type thingy... http://www.mothercare.com/Bright-Starts-Bounce-activity-station/dp/B002VWJL1Y/sr=1-2/qid=1259171989/ref=sr_1_2/276-6292037-4822333?_encoding=UTF8&m=A2LBKNDJ2KZUGQ&n=42874041&mcb=core :)

Big sobs here, Daddy decided it's teething, Bonjela applied, baby muttering to self, Daddy determined to get him to nap.. Me? Left 'em to it! :p
