can u please explain, i am very intrigued!!?!?? :o

Weezl, you are very crafty! I wish I was a bit more imaginative.....although you have given me lotsa ideas!! I ahve been keeping junk from the kitchen, such as egg boxes, loo rolls, bottles etc. to make stuff with katie.....but I get stuck as to what to do with them!!! :o

Glam, you have inspired me!! :D Im going shopping tomorrow Chrimbo style!! :)

mel: yove prob already done it, but i wuld def change him. Katie had a dirty bum a few months ago in her sleep, but must have done it after i checked o her to go to bed (early at 9pm that night - typical!?) so obv we didnt know til the next mornin and her lil bum was so sore and red, she even found it hard to sit down god love her. def change it!!!!

We found out tonight that we have a few pound coming to us, so money worries are over at the mo. I am so relieved, i actually cried my eyes out before dinner time . Havent been able to sleep the past cople weeks worrying about things and now its a big massive weight of our shoulders.
    Carla-Farla!! :)

Think I'm going to take the borrowed bumbo back... We just don't seem to use it... And now she can sit herself up it seems a bit surplus to requirements... Maybe they're more handy if you have the tray?

Anyway, she's sitting happily in her donkey ring watching daddy play tennis on the wii...

And thanks Becles, hubby's knicking off with my bus pass tomorrow (his ran out today) so I'll be stuck in the house between school runs... Might see if Caitlyn will have a big afternoon nap again and get all crafty :D
A very proud Mummy to 3 beautiful girls... I do pity my husband though, he's the one to suffer the hormones...
Krystal is so smart and funny and wonderful I am struck dumb in awe in her presence.

Thanks, everyone. I managed to get a good one of DD and Kieren too, we're all a bit camera daft in my house!!
  • Evening all :)

Yay for Rhys' weight gain :T

MacSmiler - why don't you go and have a mooch around a couple of nurseries to see what you think? An afternoon session (or a morning) a week may give you a little bit of time to get some stuff done, especially if you have a business in the offing.

At least if you have looked then you can make your own mind up IYSWIM. Home care is fantastic but children can also benefit from other experiences.

Personally, as a SAHM I think I would be pretty crap long term! I don't do enough of the mind-expanding things that my CM talks about and does with her chidren!! We are much better off this way.

Right - going to download my piccies off the camera to see if we have a suitable santa pic!

Sami, did you say you ordered Thorntons?

Mine arrived on Sat and one of the gifts I ordered is all squashed. Just emailed them now as I can't give it as a gift as it looks bargain basement .

Luckily the big free hamper that we're keeping arrived intact! :rotfl:

    xx

    I'll keep thinking sweetie :)
My mum used to make things out of half an egg shell painted and sequins stuck on but the over zealous H&S police said it was dangerous  but she came up with the genius idea of cutting the 'cups' off the egg box instead

  • Hi girlies, hubby has been off work for the last 4 days so not much chance to post. I have been trying to catch up can't remember who needs hugs etc...
Oh, fancy homemade christmas decs...I don't think we are bothering putting up the big tree, there really isn't any where to put it, so I think we'll stick to popping the small fibre optic one on the dining table :p

    Yay for chubby Rhys

Mel, we had the smelly nappy the other night/morning - Liam woke a t 4am, took him out of his blankets to change his bum and he though it was play time  He was awake till 6 and I was so tired the next day!

Ducklings was success again. Liam manage to keep concentrated for the whole session. We are missing rhyme time tomorrow for some reason or another :p but have baby babble on weds, meeting some mummy friends on thurs and waiting in for my new comp on friday :j

TC - is it 11 at Nando's? - I'm another who is usually early, but I'll have shops to keep me entertained!
